Unfortunately I have had dealings with…

Unfortunately I have had dealings with TotalEnergies over the last 21 months. To say that they have been consistently incompetent is a massive understatement.
The response from their ‘Customercare’ team is to respond to any query with an automated email to tell you that they will respond within three working days. I have a dozen of more of these which have resulted in precisely nothing. They have consistently failed to get my correct billing address on bills. I reported that the electricity meter in my office building was not working on the 30th May. A request to rectify this was I am told, passed to the metering team who ‘would respond’. Six weeks later I have had no response at all.
I have emailed them many times, phoned them four times, written to them twice. None of this had resulted in any coherent response from TotalEnergies beyond worthless automated email acknowledgements.

Incompetent, Unhelpful - to be avoided!

Do not get involved with this company! A wildly inaccurate invoice was generated in 2022, resulting in a demand for over £7,000. Even when shown photographic evidence of the meter demonstrating that the invoice was wrong, the money was taken anyway and it took months to get the billing back on track. Hardly had that been settled, than another invoice was generated which was based on erroneous figures, although accurate ones had been submitted. Having started the complaints procedure in March and submitted accurate readings at the end of every month since then, no correct invoice has been generated yet demands for payments still come, although the complaints department tell me that the resolution is pending and not to pay. Yet, they cannot communicate this information to their billing department! The level of incompetence is staggering.

Stay well clear

I don't have enough hours in a day to convey how bad this company is, from lack of communication, to wrong communication, to passing the buck, my issues have been going on for months now. And to top it all off i now have debt collectors after me for a bill im not due on!! To be told just to ignore the collectors!!Don't touch with a bargepole

Grossly unprofessional sent us an estimate for a final bill I emailed total to say we would be canceling our direct debit they then assumed we would not pay their bill on their information it said bill had to be paid by 14/3/2023 on 3/3/2023 a company in Kent sent a letter saying we would be charged interest by the day Total are the cause of the problem they need to contact the customer first they don t answer the phone either!

If I could give no stars I would
This company has no customer care
Been trying to sort a final bill out for well over 12months
Rang to tell them we had sold the business so I needed a final bill it took them over 12 months to reply then 1 month later received a estimated bill been trying to get a accurate one with no avail
Now receiving demanding scolisters emails trying to make me pay estimated bill

Facturam más de lo que te dicen.

Cobran precios diferentes a los que te ofertan, y una vez que te han facturado no admiten reclamaciones. No contrateis con esta compañía, porque os facturará segun quiera ella, aunque tengas las grabaciones donde te informan de los precios.

Laura Monsellato was a massive help!

Laura took on a complaint that had been on going since last Summer. Multiple members of staff had been involved. There was a large amount of calls and emails and exchange of documents throughout this time. With no luck to getting this query resolved. Laura came on board and got everything resolved. I an not thank you enough Laura! Thank you very much.

If we could start this review by giving no stars then we would ..last month we were hundreds of pounds in credit … then yesterday we received a bill for thousands of pounds ..the bill for thousands arrived to us AFTER it had already been taken from the bank that in itself is a total disgrace …. When we called customer services to try to sort it out .,the female member of the Management team that we spoke to was unable to explain what had happened …but refused to pass us onto anybody senior and was quite rude ignorant and proud of how she conducted herself apparently …seeking legal advice now seem to be the only way forward ACCOUNT NUMBER 3003991100

Shocking Customer Service

Shocking Customer Service. There is never anyone to answer the phone and the online chat is very poor. I was disputing a non-Direct debit charge for over an hour (to no avail). If I had been able to communicate with a person 3 months ago, this issue would never have become what it did. The bank account we were using to pay the bills was closed and there was no one to speak to regarding this, we have since been charged £24 3 times for a non direct debit fee I understand all gas and electric companies are under a lot of pressure just now, but the service has been like this for years. The only recommendation I would give for this company is - I recommend you steer well clear .

Total energies. Totally useless

I would have given zero had I been able.
I have never met a utilities company like these. What a joke. I ring and ring. I have paid all bills on time but keep getting letters saying I have not paid.
They use the words imperative and immediately. I feel like taking legal action against them. Lastly the final bill was 800% more than the last and that was an empty home.
Please don’t go with these incompetent so called company.

Problems with account handled really well by Senior Complaints...

Our business account with total energies was in an absolute mess for various reasons..... I struggled for a while to get the help I needed to get this resolved.

The case was eventually passed to Mandy (senior complaints handler), I cant praise Mandy highly enough for her help and professionalism in getting the issues resolved so our account could be billed correctly up to date.

By the point I was handed to Mandy the issue was causing me considerable stress - Mandy really listened to my concerns and worked hard to get the issue resolved so we could close the complaint and bring the account up to date within a couple of weeks.

Things do go wrong, thats unavoidable - I was so grateful to get the help I did in getting the problem sorted - thank you Mandy.

Listening to the Russian person at the…

Listening to the Russian person at the UN last evening was horrendous. How he was allowed in the building beats me. Why did people listen to him? Sitting there telling lies so the Russian people believe it? As said, Putin, one man, is causing so many deaths. His own soldiers do not want to be there as they were lied to. The world is going to bring him down and Total need to get on board. I am expecting British people to stop buying Shell fuel as they just bought Russian oil. The same for Total.

I’m not at all happy that this company has decided to carry on dealing with Russia after Russia invaded the Ukraine. Please understand that this is not something I can see as good business or business as usual.

NOT responsible nasty company

Unethical doesn't even cover it with TotalEnergy. Complicit in atrocities maybe. Actively sponsoring the worst of humanity, definitely. Let's also not forget Total's heavy investment in the Arctic, instead of doing the right thing and investing in renewables. Essentially, this company is all about destruction. This will not be forgotten.
