TopGrass was launched in 2005 with the aim of offering top-quality lawn care using the knowledge, materials, and equipment of the professional groundsman and applying it to domestic lawns. TopGrass is an independent lawn treatment company set up by Tom Arnold and Ian Decourcy whose backgrounds combine experience in treating professional lawns and sports turf with business expertise from working in quality-driven blue-chip companies. After many years, we are now a well-established, family-run company. Tom's wife Shirley, daughter Katie and two sons Chris and Peter, all now have varying input into the business and bring with them their core family values to the everyday running of the company.

Following the application of weedkiller…
Following the application of weedkiller to the lawn together with fertilizer granules, I have been left with peculiar patches of dead grass where the weedkiller spray was applied. The grass has not regrown and is very unsightly, at a time we were hoping to spend and enjoy on the lawns this summer.

the feeding is good but the broad leave weed is still resilient and intrasigent otherwise level of service is good and time keeping and punctuality is good
the individual workers are polite and pliant.

Have been with Top Grass some years now…
Have been with Top Grass some years now and my lawn has improved no end. Staff are always polite and send updates and recommendations after each treatment.
Although you can leave back gate open for staff to attend I don't like to do that and, as I go out everyday, I have to phone near the appointment to get a better idea of visit time. Which I do every time I have an appointment. It usually works out well.

I’ve used Topgrass for the first time this year. The technicians have courteous and knowledgeable. There has been a noticeable improvement in my lawn which, given the state of it at the beginning, is excellent. Look forward to further improvement in my lawn.

I have contracted with TopGrass for two…
I have contracted with TopGrass for two years to improve what were sad looking lawns. There has been real improvement in the virtual total eradication of weeds, especially clover and the grass is now lush and healthy. The administration and operatives are first class.

Great lawn
We have been using another company for 20 years and the last 2/3 not been great have suffered with a high levels of wed grasses and general lack of growth. Have been using Top Grass last 18 months and massive improvement, the weather over the past few weeks has of course had an impact on growth and the overall look of the lawn, so maybe early days. But very pleased with service and effeteness of the treatment, having vertidrained in the Autumn which should help with next years growth.

I started with a patchy lawn with no drainage it was hurrendous I was seriously considering artifical grass but we have 4 cats and they all chew on the grass and it's ideal for wildlife in general we have hedgehogs fox's regular visitors to the garden then I noticed an advert for top grass I'll be honest after the first treatment I wasn't very impressed but over time the treatment has been amazing I now have a plush area of greeny and even when we have really dry weather due to the airation holes top grass put through the grass area the grass stays green and fresh I highly recommend top grass and happy to send photos
