Hardware didn't last as long as it should've for such an expensive machine.

I love this product! I am not a person who grew up going to the gym. The fact that I can do this in my home and have coaches work with me is a miracle!

The best home gym with great coaches and the technology has not been matched.

$60 a month for nothing. Classes are terrible. I use it as an expensive cable machine in combination with dumbbells. There should be another tier without classes, keeping the cable functions. That would definitely make a 5 star piece of equipment.

I loved using the Tonal in my employer's gym. So much so that I ordered one myself. That's when the problems began.

It took 3 months to arrive, which was a bummer, but when it finally arrived I was so excited to get started that I didn't even care.

In the years that followed, I still recommended Tonal to all my friends. It's convenient, effective, and durable. Yeah, it costs an arm and a leg, but so are other home gym setups.

Now, after years, I regret my purchase and have stopped recommending Tonal to anyone. For the money, there are way more effective and less frustrating systems out there. It's just too dang expensive. And for all the money you spend, you get advertisements on the front page every single time you turn the thing on. The subscription I pay so much for has given me next to nothing. The workout library was fine, where are the new features or workouts? Why, after 6 years, can I still not see my workout history? Why is there no support for android watches or heartrate monitors? Why is there no Spotify integration? Ive been listening to the same playlist for years now. Also, no language support outside of English. Heck, they don't even have subtitles.

If this thing was $2000 dollars and a $30 a month subscription, I'd be a little more understanding. But Tonal is now charging $4000 and the monthly is $60. That's $720 a year. That's an insane amount of cash to be paying in order to receive ADS every time I want to workout.

If you want a workout machine for your home, I'd look elsewhere. At least until they figure out how to get prices down and provide more value for their customers.

Easy access to exercises and versatile accessories

We enjoy tonal as it's very convenient to have home gym. It allows us to give flexibility of working out at home. It has helped my running and overall health. My husband uses it for his ironman and ultra to marathon distance races strength training.

Keeps me coming back

The coaches are uplifitng and motivating. There are multitudes of workouts available for all skill levels and time constrants. Each workout is customizable to the athlete's skill or weakness. The Tonal is sleek and doesn't take up a lot of space, yet it provides access to a full body workout.

I love all the different coaches! Each one brings a different perspective. I love the energy they bring and also the expertise they bring to their workouts! I have my favorites but I’m trying to branch out. Still recovering from a bad car accident but tonal is helping me to get stronger with out making me feel bad for loosing some of my strength. Thanks for hanging in there with me as I recover!! Some of the corrections are tough because I’m trying to recover. My right arm is not working all that well, but I’m trying, i yell at it a lot! I’m trying! But I do love my tonal. I’d be lost without it!!

Customer service has always been great and responsive; every time I've reached out, the team has been quick to help and genuinely seems to care about getting it right. The free "Tune Up" I received after hitting 10 million lbs lifted was amazing and completely unexpected; it's a small gesture that made me feel recognized for sticking with the program, not just treated like a subscription number.

Beyond that, the smart resistance and progress tracking take the guesswork out of training. I never have to wonder when to increase weight; Tonal handles that automatically, which is something I never got from free weights alone. The coaches are excellent too, consistently pushing me in a way that feels like having a real personal trainer at home.

Better than expected

Handles broke after two years, formal wont replace. Reached out to them multiple times to make it right, they wanted to charge me $300 for new handles.
