Most wkouts are with Tony. I love his energy and being 63 I appreciate his fitness level.
We got the tonal for the trainers, space saving, all in one, equipment, and variety of wkouts.

I’ve always loved using my Tonal. We had some tech issues at the end of last year/early this year. We upgraded and then had more tech issues. But service was sent out and it all seems to be resolved at this point. Customer service worked very hard with us to figure out the issue and get it fixed. It’s been smooth sailing since!

The tech, the high volume of workout options, and the diverse menu of coaches are outstanding.

Wonderful machine, love the classes. Only wish they would invest even more in the great instructors and personalities, keep some of the great ones longer. It's that connection(s) that makes it easy to keep coming back for my programs and workouts.

Customer Service is great was able to provide direct services without any issues

lets me get the work out done at home without the wasted time of driving/parking /showering twice a day etc. I just nock it out before my day starts. Feel so much better on days that start with Tonal

Convenience of in home on demand, individual workouts, programs designed around different workout types or muscle groups is great. I personally like the workouts for runners, yoga and lately the live classes of all types.

We enjoy the variety of workouts- difficulty levels and exercise types, the fresh content, and the encouraging and informative instructors. We also appreciate the clues tonal gives that help ensure exercises are done correctly.

I have been using tonal for 7 years. I love it. I can work so many muscles and on my own scheudle . I live the warm ups and cool downs and can customize my workouts.

Their product and programming are top notch. I’m an experienced lifter at the gym for many years. I have experienced significant strength gains and enjoy greater consistency having this “gym” in my home

I can do the workouts that are best for me and I’m able to pick the ones I need for my age. The variety is great and the instructors are all top notch!

Tonal is the only thing that I have stayed consistent on for 3+ years. The coaches are great, the workouts are fun and challenging, and there is a ton of variety to choose from! I would recommend tonal to anyone!

The product totally idiot-proofs my workout, and removes all barriers to being consistent in my weight training routine.

I would have easily gave 5 stars. The only reason I selected four is because there is no area to type in an injury and have workouts or programs pop up from there. I have had the tonal for a few years now and because I play soccer I have torn my MCL and partially tore my cojoint tendon at the sitbone. I still like to stay active during injuries with what I can do but I have had to really adjust my workouts or skip certain exercises within the workout to accommodate. I also understand it's a lot to ask for which is why I really think tonal deserves 5 stars. It's my primary strength workout outside of pull ups, dips, and sprints and I have seen strength gains, muscle mass gains, and overall more muscle definition. All the coaches are great and I love the mobility options even though I don't do them enough. I have also contacted customer service twice for some wifi issues and the employees are beyond nice, knowledgeable, and patient. Keep doing what your doing Tonal!

I want to make one thing clear before I start: I'm writing this as someone who's fully non-disabled. My problem with Tonal has nothing to do with accessibility. It has to do with the fact that it's a screen pretending to be a gym, and people believe it.

My family has had a Tonal for a while, and I've never been fond of it. The thing is, I don't really have a choice. I'm a teenager with no car, and my parents both work, so they can't just drop everything to drive me to an actual gym whenever I want to work out. The Tonal is what I've got. That doesn't mean I have to be happy about it. In fact, I'm quite mad about it.
The biggest problem is how the Tonal feels. A real gym has people to socialize with. A real gym is where you move around to various machines, see other people pushing themselves, and even if you never talk to anyone, this energy makes you want to work harder. Tonal is just you, alone, in a room, pulling on cables that are supposed to be weights. It feels depressing. There's no clanking plates, no one spotting you, nothing. Just a TV screen telling you how many reps you have left. The only sound is the creepy coach on the screen saying something and some outdated pop music. And afterward, when you tell your family you "worked out," it doesn't even feel true. You didn't lift anything. You just stood in front of a TV and moved your arms around while it kept score. That's not something to be proud of. It's kind of embarrassing, honestly. I think working out at the gym in GTA San Andreas would be closer to working out at a real gym than on a Tonal.
Then my family got a new one. There was nothing wrong with the old Tonal– nothing beyond everything I just said– but they replaced it anyway. After that, my dad started asking me almost every day if I'd used it yet. Every time, I said no. I just didn't like it.
But today, the day before the first day of school, I caved. I wanted to work out on the "home gym" before school started. I turned it on. My old profile was gone since it was a new machine, so I just started as a guest. It was annoying as Hell. While I was setting up my workout, I noticed a little black circle at the top of the screen that I didn't remember from the old one. I didn't think anything of it and clicked start. Then I saw myself. On the screen. Watching me.
To make matters even worse, it turns out the new Tonal has a built-in camera that tracks your form while you work out. Nobody told me that. I didn't agree to that. If I want feedback on my form, I'd ask my friend to spot me. I didn't sign up to have a creepy AI camera in my house recording me while I get sweaty and lift weights. I covered the lens with tape and a sticky note right away. I didn't trust the thing already, and now I trust it even less.
Also, somehow, the new Tonal felt even more lifeless than the old one. I didn't think that was possible, but Tonal found a way. Tonal found a way to screw the workout experience over even more.
Partway through my workout, doing sit-ups in front of a glowing screen, I started thinking about my ancestors– people who came to this country with nothing and worked themselves to the bone building railroads, doing actual, brutal physical labor just to survive. And here I was, sitting in a climate-controlled basement, being filmed by a fitness app's AI slave, pretending that pulling on a cable machine counted as hard work. It didn't feel like exercise anymore. It felt fake. I felt sad while working out. Tonal found a way to make you feel unproud about working out. So I turned it off, went upstairs, and wrote this instead.

P.S, Joe Rodonis– stop shopping in the kids' section. You’re a grown man. Get some looser pants than those leggings you call sweatpants. I don’t want to see all that while sadly lifting fake weights.

product is great. it would be awesome if the weights started even lower as 3 lbs especially for beginners , who never lifted any weight.

I was really excited but have not used it once since it was delivered two weeks ago because of frustration due to lack of information how to begin. I have no idea how to use it. I tried to do the assessment to set my weight limits. It did not say how many reps to do so I did over 100 then stopped frustrated. I had trouble setting the arms in place before the instructor continued so I started the reps late then realized maybe I was to do 10 reps. Then music was playing and screen lit and we could not figure out how to get it off. So disappointed. Seems awkward to use the arms and I have NO idea how I will find programs when I get the assessment done! They send lots of videos but no suggestions how to get started. I am overwhelmed and considering returning it. For the money I paid and the $60 monthly fee, I should have had someone give me get started instructions. Sad.

Love the trainers, the flexibility of working out during different times of the day, and Tonal is a time saver so that I do not have to drive to the gym.

Great way to manage strength training and exercise. Works very well with variety of options and great coaching. Easy way to keep in shape and prepare for other outdoor activities, biking hiking skiing.
