Having been the victim of another disgraced surveyor, I was left in a desperate situation trying to progress my sale.
A red book survey was conducted at short notice and the report turned around quickly.
The whole team at TMA have been nothing but professional, supportive and understanding in a difficult situation and I thoroughly recommend them.

Tim Matthews is dishonest and corrupted to his core. His firm TMA operates like a scam. We used him in a property dispute and he decided not to record the long established site features and make it all up including measurements and onsite features to suit his agenda. He first gave a low quote and then generated more issues to profiteer many thousands. Touch him at your own peril.

I used TMA to help with a drains dispute in my garden where my neighbours drains cross my property. Advice was very professionally provided with the whole team being very courteous, responsive and knowledgeable would certainly recommend.

I've used TMA Chartered Surveyors twice now - first in 2021 and again recently before Christmas - and both experiences were outstanding. Their service is consistently prompt and professional.
Sarah provided excellent insights about extension possibilities, while Mark conducted an exceptionally thorough survey. The level of detail and expertise they bring to their work is impressive.
Having used their services multiple times, I can confidently say they're the absolute best in the field. If you're looking for chartered surveyors who combine professionalism with comprehensive expertise, TMA is the way to go. Can't recommend them enough!

Unprofessional and dishonest. Don't touch T Matthews or his firm. They are in to make a good mint on others' misery. Gather evidence and don't hesitate in complaining about him and TMA to RICS. Hope he will get done with perjury soon.

I would echo the other reviewer that had a negative experience with these people.

They were the most expensive on the market and seemed professional when I spoke to them. Unfortunately the comparable evidence they used were all properties that were a very different commute from ours. Their valuation of our property implied a much lower than market increase and when I challenged them to explain they could not.

I don't think they understand the local market very well considering they did not seem to appreciate the impact on price that commuting has. I wish we had chosen someone else and I would advise you to look elsewhere.

TMA surveys were instructed as Joint Expert Valuer's in a property dispute 2021 for £1500

Very unprofessional report without any evidence provided of statements made within the report regarding rotten window frames and a damp wall.
No Photographs were taken or moisture readings provided to back this up .
Surveyor states he took moisture reading but did not note it down for the report (Unprofessional)

Poor reports of recent properties sold in the area which were not comparable or even local to the property being valued. Nothing more than what can be found online from Rightmove and Zoopla sites oneself.

It appears that the local knowledge of the surveyor was not very good.

A Rent valuation was also required by the courts

Rent values of the property in question given by the Surveyor appear to be way out of touch with the market trends and rental demands and it was stated that Rents had not risen between September 2019 and August 2021?

Overall very unhappy with the service provided by TMA Surveys , especially having written to the Surveyor in question to explain my concerns,
and as I have not had a reply I feel this further shows how unprofessional TMA Surveys are.

My advice to anyone needing a Survey is to AVOID TMA Surveys and go elsewhere.
