The top tread was cut out in the wrong…
The top tread was cut out in the wrong place on the string so had to spend my time re cutting it and patching up existing.

Well made solid staircase
Very solid well fitting staircase with 32mm thick pine treads, for loft conversion. Good design software and everything supplied to specification/model.
Delivery happened on the day stated and the driver phoned late afternoon the previous day to advise a midday slot. This helped with arranging manpower to receive the heavy straight staircase section.
I would definitely use TKStairs again

Feature treads tricky to build
The quality of stairs was good. However the fitting together (provided flat pack with feature treads prebuilt) when feature treads are included is not straightforward. The stringer on the feature tread side does not include fixing slots for both treads but relies on screws. I also added addition support under the extended part of the feature tread as it appears to rely on the riser for support.

Five Star Service From a Five Star Company
Five star service from a 5 star company. From initial contact to the finished product everything went exactly as it should have done. The products they produce are of a far superior quality to others available on the market and I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone, trade or DIY, who may be considering a staircase and balustrade installation.

Good from start to finish
Very impressed, communication is key and there was plenty of it. Staircase was better than expected, delivered on the due date at 8am and we fitted it by 9am. Thanks for a good service and staircase.
