I haven't been able to stop talking to moms about this company. So smart for mother's with anxiety when it comes to clutter. I have so many of my son's toys posted on market place to sell. This way he is getting some of the best Montessori toys and I don't have to worry about where to store them when he grows out of them. Can not say enough good about this company!

I love their mission and very pleased that something like this even exists! It takes some getting used to because since they are second hand stuff, some of the packing and boxes were pretty banged up but the toys were still in good condition. The only complaint was that one of the toys was missing a piece upon arrival but other than that it’s been a great experience!

can't cancel and way overcharged
I tried to cancel after realizing I had paid $280 for only three boxes.
They charge you every month but they don't send you toys every month.
It's truly a complete scam.
Then when I tried to cancel they wouldn't cancel my membership and kept asking me to send an email which I had already sent 3.
In addition to that they said they didn't receive my return. Thank God I had saved the return recipet and tracking number.
This is a complete scam. Please don't trust them.

Hi Samar, thanks so much for this feedback. I'm so sorry to hear that you had a poor experience with us. To explain our pricing a bit, we rent toys to make a variety of high quality toys available to families just for when they need them. Our average 5 toy kit contains toys worth more than $200 at retail. At $280 for 3 shipments of 5 toys, you effectively paid less than half of what you would have for the same toys if you had purchased them.
The membership you signed up for (and agreed to at checkout) included free shipping and exchanges every 2 months to maximize your child's learning and reduce our shipping impact. We set this membership up to be paid monthly instead of every 2 months at the same time as exchange because we wanted to make it more affordable month-to-month, but we understand that that may have been confusing!
So, we recently updated our pricing to hopefully make this make more sense for families. Now, we charge a small membership fee for access to our toys and resources and then families pay per shipment, at whatever shipment frequency they prefer. If you ever decide to rejoin us, I think you'll find that this works better for you, because your payments will be more aligned to when you're receiving a box of rental toys.
Additionally, I'm so sorry that you had trouble with cancelling - you can cancel at any time within your account, and I'm sorry that it wasn't easier for you via email. We'll work on this!
Finally, our customers need to use the return labels we provide for free or provide a return receipt and tracking number if you want to use your own. If another return label is used we have no way to tell that it's you who returned the toys!

Sami: I totally understand the feedback. We're constantly looking to balance accessible prices with sourcing the best. We source super high quality toys to ensure they are durable, sustainable and educational and so the toys we rent on average are worth $45 each totally over $450 on average per shipment of 10 toys. We are looking at ways of making this more accessible and are open to your feedback on ways we could make it more valuable!
