TOTAL SCAM -- BEWARE!!!
Paid $19.98 to sign up for Timebox.TV quarterly plan on 5/8/2026. Received an email that same day saying:
"We have a little confession to make: Timebox isn't quite ready yet. Our full history learning platform and member dashboard are still in development, and we want to be totally upfront with you."
They gave me two options:
1. Want a refund? Just reply to this email.
2. Want to wait? We'll give you all this free stuff.
So I emailed support [at] timebox.tv to request a refund and it bounced. Multiple times. Called the phone number associated with the charge -- went straight to voicemail.
Now timebox.tv points to a completely different website.
THIS IS CLEARLY A SCAM.
The phone number (+1 360-761-2083) is registered to a Kevin J. Ballard in Utah.
Amex would not refund the charge, which is even more infuriating.
If you're reading this and you are behind this scam, I'm coming for you.
