I signed up for TIDE through a free trial offer and was later charged €109.90 for an annual renewal.
What I find particularly frustrating is that TIDE’s own subscription policy states that customers will receive a reminder before renewal. I did not receive any reminder before the charge.
I contacted TIDE twice to request a cancellation and refund, but the issue has still not been resolved.
The magazine linked to the renewal has remained unopened, and I have clearly explained that I do not wish to continue the subscription.
For a subscription service, I believe renewal terms and upcoming charges should be communicated very clearly, especially when the amount is over €100.
I am still waiting for a full refund and a proper resolution.

Nb this is for Tide Magazine France. Unfortunately this is a scam. They illegally took payment for a year of ‘membership’ from me that I did not request or agree too: I have received a ‘free’ old magazine (I assume in hindsight that this is to obtain your card information as you do have to pay for postage) and then a month later £106 was taken from my account. I’ve emailed 4 times, messaged them via the instagram account (they have now blocked me) and had absolutely no response. I’ve contacted my bank who will investigate. Avoid!

I ordered a magazine subscription from them and:
1. Never received the magazine
2. Was charged for the next years subscription 11 months early

When I reached out about the incorrect charge I never heard back. I also double checked the terms of the agreement and I should have never been charged.

So I affectively paid 2x for a membership, never received anything, and never heard back

La pubblicazione in sé è di scarsa qualità, ma quello va a gusti. Però salvano i dati della carta di credito, attivano abbonamenti pluriennali (pagamento anticipato, cifra monstre) non richiesti e poi spariscono.
