They set up monthly payments on the…£10 and £19.98
They set up monthly payments on the back of easy life without your knowledge, Premier club are part of the same group. how are they still trading,
ZERO points. Despicable company targeting the elderly.
My 88 year old mother ordered something from Easy life. She then had a phone call getting her to subscribe to a crappy little magazine stating she can cancel anytime. I told her to cancel immediately as I knew it was a scam. Months later they took £99 from her account. She managed to get a charge back from her bank and has had to get a new debit card. What a shameful business model - scamming the elderly.
Beware - they are trying to steal your money
Never heard of this company until they tried to take a payment from my credit card. Fortunately TSB spotted it and alerted me.
I expect I will have to get a new card, which is annoying.
Pod club have just tried to take £99…
Pod club have just tried to take £99 out of my account,
luckily my bank contacte me to ask me should they pay it,they said Pod club had all my details,I had to cancel my debit card and order a new one
Company target8the elderly to extract money
This company are a sham. Constantly trying to get my mum to subscribe. They send a letter telling you you have a limited time to cancel or they charge you. Ist time £99 then 15.99. Rang to complain after we spotted it. Then asked for no more communication by phone 3 times. Emailed and was told she's not on the list before Christmas then Jan she gets another letter! Cancelled her debit card so they can't take anymore money. They send letters from different companies some from Kent others Cardiff. Mum originally ordered at the beginning of 2024 something from a little book that came in a magazine/paper. They leave it a while then start taking money from peoples accounts.
Utter scammers !!
Utter scammers !!! Took £74 from my dad 88 years old cc under pop club !!!! Not authorised or required. Had to cancel card and get a new one for him !!! Be warned do not deal with this company esp if you are or have elderly parents !!!! Disgusting …
They have stolen £69.99 from my bank…
They have stolen £69.99 from my bank account. I have never subscribed with them. Thieves.
Attempted withdrawal of £99
Had to cancel the bank card. Payment hadn't gone. Bank were vigilant, and we were warned by them. Connections to Easylife/Rewards Club I am told.
When I said I would report this to Trading Standard customer services at Easy Life hung up.
I have reported to Trading Standards. I have also updated Which? because the call you receive from Easylife/The Rewards Club tells you - you have to OPT OUT!! Which I did immediately but clearly opting out isn't an option. A new bank card is.
Perhaps i should be giving five stars…
Perhaps i should be giving five stars because i have just had the £99 they took on my credit card refunded! My daughter had to take over the communications concerning this £99 charge for something i hadnt bought and was not aware i had agreed to. Lucky she was staying over Christmas as i am hearing impaired so could not have managed a speedy resolution by phone calls.
ZERO stars
ZERO stars. 'Podclubs' keep trying to charge my credit card, lucky for me American Express recognise this as fraud and alert me each time. Complete scam, I've had no contact from them and did not subscribe. Note from other comments and online they seem to be linked to 'easylife' who I did sign up to without realising there was a cost, received stuff in post from them, noticed charge and cancelled subscription. But podclubs seem to piggyback on easylife and hope charges go through unnoticed. I think the police should pay them a visit
Avoid immediately and get company blocked
Agree with all reviews posted. They have managed to take 18 payments from my Fathers credit card (all in Nov - Jan) after buying one thing from Easylife magazine. Credit card company don't see it as fraud as the original transaction was authentic. Unbelievable. Claiming money back through a Section 75 clause. Seems like they can't be touched due to the small checkbox which no-one can read which states 'unless checked permission is granted to take money for 'service'. Awful!! Beware that they have several companies, one of which is Premier Holidays, though this company did at least refund their part of the money taken.
WARNING SCAMMERS!
WARNING SCAMMERS!! Tried to take money from my 81 year old nans credit card. Previously been scammed by Easylife. Be careful!!!

Reporting the company
Report to Action Fraud
(in England, Northern Ireland and Wales), or Police Scotland if you or someone you know has been the victim of fraud.
Wider concerns about a business' practices can be referred to Trading Standards, via the Citizens Advice consumer helpline on 0808 223 1133 or online at citizensadvice . org . uk.
You can send a company a subject access request – via email is fine – asking it to supply you with details of any personal data e.g. a recording of a sales call and proof that it has consent to contact you or share your data. It must reply within one month of receiving the request, and can be reported to the ICO
if it doesn't.
If you no longer trust a company, you can exercise your legal ‘right to be forgotten’, by requesting that it erases all of your personal data to date.
Something needs to be done about them
This outfit have tried to charge my credit card 4 times. Each time the issuer blocked the charge and had to cancel the card and issue a new one. Still POD Clubs tried to charge the card even though it had a new number. I have reported the matter to Action Fraud but they claimed it is not a "police recordable crime". Companies House said that although the firm was dissolved in November they are entitled to continue to use the trading name so long as they do not add "limited". The PRA division of the Bank of England said the matter does not come within their jurisdiction.
This company is a rip off
This company is a rip off, have been dissolved and Director was a Lewis Jay Morgan born July 1993 of 24 The Grove, Great Barr, Birmingham, B43 7AY. They were clearly renting a Mail drop in Brindley Place, Birmingham. He is now linked to a Morgan Ellis Homes Limited(15093186). Ripped off my 86 year old mother, will be reporting to Action Fraud.
Despicable 'company'!
Yes, my elderly relative too! Unbelievable. The bank have blocked the card, luckily only two payments collected, unlike some others on here. The bank had already blocked one attempt to claim a payment, but they changed their account details to slip through the bank's security net after all.
Absolutely despicable to target the elderly in this way!
Do not Buy anything from Easylife they…
Do not Buy anything from Easylife they pass your details to their joint companies like Podclubs who then steal your money as a subscription charge, My mothers card was used somehow to set up a subscription charge of £65.99 without her knowledge. By chance i was looking into my mothers account and knew something not right, had to call bank to stop any further transactions and claim the money back. Had to replace her bank card. They need to be reported and have them shut down. scammers be alert!
I'd give zero points
I'd give zero points, but can't do that, so PODCLUB out of EASYLIFE: don't touch with a barge pole! Easylife sells your financial details, and you'll find money taken from your account. I see from previous low reviews that many elderly people are victims - surprise, surprise, Easylife sells 'living aids' used by the elderly - incontinence pads, mobility aids, etc - and the elderly are easy prey to scum like this. Also interesting that the only company replies to the reviews are to those 'customers' giving positive comments (probably by its own staff). Avoid at all costs.
Stealing money from the elderly
Just found out this company have been taking money from my mums bank account for the last 6 months, she's 82 and would never have signed up to anything. Looks like there is a link to another company called PremierOffers as transaction amounts are very similar n my mums case
