The system very carefully decided if this anti-malarial medication was the right one for us. We have ordered anti malaria meds before but my husband's new conditions and prescribed meds needed checking for contra-indications and The Family Chemist asked additional questions via email to check on this. Once this was done, the meds arrived very quickly

Great as long as you don’t need Custoner Service.
All goes well until you need to use customer service.
Failed quick pen, then they wash their hands of it & try to pass you off to their supplier.
That’s not how customer service works.
My advice, pay by credit card then you have the added protection of section 75 of the consumer credit act.

However, where a pen is reported to have malfunctioned, the manufacturer is required to investigate the device directly, as they produced, filled, and sealed it and are best placed to assess the reported fault. Referring a customer to the manufacturer is therefore not an attempt to avoid responsibility, but the correct process for dealing with a potential product defect.
Our team remains available to provide guidance and assist with the information needed for the investigation. Any rights available through a credit card provider are separate from the manufacturer’s established complaint and investigation procedure and do not replace the need for the reported device to be properly assessed.
