What a gem of a place this is , the food was amazing presented immaculately..
The views from this pub are breathtaking, it’s a must for either food or enjoying a perfect pint ..
Lauren and her staff are polite and very helpful..

My 60th at this wonderful venue was made so special by the friendly and welcoming staff. The venue decor is amazing. My party was in the function room and it looked stunning. The food was delicious and the children had great fun in the outside play area.
Thank you The Country Manor for the wonderful memories of a very special time with my loved ones. We will be back very soon.

Absolutely stunning food. Very good range of drinks , all at very reasonable prices.

I've held off from writing this as I was part of a large childrens function where our event organiser has been awaiting a refund due to very poor service. After 3 weeks of daily emails, and lack of communication and willingness to accept responsibility on their part, we have finally received a partial refund for the event.
However, as a parent of a child who was attending the event, I had joined friends in dining in the restaurant. We were not volunteers/chaperones to the function, just a group of parents having food and drink, yet we were approached a number of times regarding ongoings with the function. There were enough volunteers to deal with anything arising yet the staff did not seem to acknowledge this.
Food wise - I had personally ordered a salad and a side of chips. I do admit that the food itself was nice, however, my side of chips arrived, then a good 20 minutes later (with no excuse or apology, after friends had all eaten) my salad arrived, serve with a side of arrogance and misery.
Unfortunately I will not be recommending this venue which is a shame because I never once had any issues when it was 3 Acres / Quarry House.

We booked our school year 6 prom based on previous years bookings. We paid for a package that included 16 items sadly when we arrived we only received 8 of the item.
No chocolate fountain, no photographer, no mirrored welcome sign, no glitter face paint, no dessert provided. Just to mention a few.
The balloons were reused from a function the previous week with a very few small balloons added (not the red theme we had requested). The table decorations were nothing short of laughable (literally a log sat in a table),
The music supplied by country manor had explicit words and had to be asked to be changed.
The party was 6-9pm the food arrived at 8.15pm far too late, it was not labelled clearly, there were no gluten free options and no dessert provided. The allergy and food knowledge was shocking. When asked if the food was halal the lady answered with ‘it’s all halal’ despite pork pie and sausage rolls being provided, when questioned she said ‘oh yea that’s not’ then she seemed completely confused that there is a difference in halal chicken and non halal chicken, very concerning.
The man that was looking after the full party single handed was not enough, they ran out of glasses, then out of cardboard cups and the children ended up using straws to communally drink out of jug. Disgusting.

Whilst all this is shocking what was worse was the attitude of the management when we complained, on the night they said we had not paid for the package we had, they soon realised we had and not so much as an apology. Throughout our complaint no remorse, undertones of sarcasm and plain rudeness. 12 days of emails, arguments and then a further 12 days of repeatedly chasing a promised refund and we have finally received a refund.

I will never recommend or use country manor again.

Had fantastic Sunday meal, staff could not do enough, very helpful in every aspect a credit to the owners

Just been for a spur of the moment meal. Friendly staff and good service, they accommodated us with our dog, sitting us in the bar. Good tasty pub food served piping hot on hot plates. We will be taking our friends there in the near future.

Lovely meal out at this newly refurbished venue. Food great, staff polite & friendly. Views stunning. Well worth a visit. We will certainly be visiting again
