Both of my kids have been attending Tecnis for over 2 years now and recently, I signed up my daughter for the Early Reading Club. I'm blown away by how much progress she's made in such a short time. The program is well structured - she attends 3 sessions every week with home lessons. My daughter was struggling with blending but now she's reading books from start to finish independently! She's also more interested in reading more with the prompts "mummy, are we going to read before bedtime?" I'm so proud of her but most importantly the team at Tecnis for their passion in ensuring that kids get adequate support with their education.

I’m happy with the progress made by my child since joining the academy, especially the ERC. I can see the progress with blending and they are beginning to read. Also, I want to give kudos to the admin team, who are usually helpful, whenever I have rung them for an issue.

It has been great to have Tecnis Academy working with our year 9 students over the last 6 weeks, helping them to fill their gaps to allow them to progress in the timetabled maths lessons. Tutu was always positive with the students and allowed them to gain confidence in their mathematical ability. This will be a great help when moving into year 10 and their GCSE years.

The standard of tuition from Tecnis has been excellent. The tutor has been supporting a group of fifteen Year 11 students in person. The tutor is highly skilled and well prepared. Each session has focused on improving knowledge, exam technique and confidence. Despite the sessions running after a full school day, the students have been focused and attentive. They have learned a lot and feedback has been very positive. I believe the input from Tecnis will have a positive impact on students' grade in GCSE Mathematics.

This academy really helped push me to pass the 11+ (the Kent test). It is also helping me by teaching things that I never even knew about like NVBR and spatial. Good value for money.

Grace has improved in her maths since joining back in October 2023. The monthly catch-up with Tutu are filled with great advice, tips for the success of our children. Great platform.

I like that they review your homework with a homework club and that they do a one to one to help struggling tutors. Theres also the fact that there's a hangout with the founder to answer any queries you may have.

I have noticed a major improvement in my daughter’s academic performance since she joined Tecnis. The classes have been worthwhile and will make even a child that doesn’t love maths fall in love with the subject! They have an amazing way of breaking it down so that they are understandable and easy to learn.

Following my daughter’s completion of the PMP and CWP, I couldn’t resist enrolling her in the long term program, given the remarkable progress she achieved through these courses. She expressed a desire for her current tutors to adopt Tecnis teachers’ teaching style.

As for my son, he finished the ERC and can now identify and blend sounds, setting him on the path to reading. Jessica, his teacher, is truly outstanding- knowledgeable, exceptionally patient, yet firm with the kids.

Their approach to teaching is so simplified using things that the children can relate to which aids learning and helps the children to remember the concept.

Tecnis academy’s intensive creative writing course (CWC) was exactly what I was looking for when I was looking into helping my twin sons (9 years old) improve their writing skills. Taking on the 11+ as a family can be a daunting experience for any family. This is especially true for parents of whom had never taken such tests themselves. So, when the opportunity arose for the boys to join this group it simply made sense. It is joyous to see them excited about writing, eager to share their creations with their class and gaining to new skills along the way. Many aspects of writing creatively are covered and I now feel more confident about aiding them in this area from what I have learnt listening to their lessons.

Also having the pleasure of meeting Tutu in person I find her to be extremely warm, kind and incredibly generous with her knowledge. She is truly a fountain of wisdom all things 11+ and beyond, from the Facebook group to the numerous courses that Tecnis provides. Her Sticky Maths – Year 5 11+ book is PURE GOLD, not only does it bridge the gaps which other mainstream brand misses but it teaches you how to solve sticky math problems in the most efficient way. An essential exercise book in your 11+ arsenal. As the boys get cracking with it over the half term we shall eagerly await subsequent volumes! I highly recommend exploring what Tecnis has to offer to see if they are a right fit for you and your family.

Tutu was fantastic with a group of children at a school in Kent. She worked on their times table skills and confidence with them and they are now much better within their maths lessons. Their confidence has grown massively and they have even been known to walk around the school, sharing rhymes and tricks they have learnt to help them. Thank you Tutu!

My Son joined Tecnis September 22 for 11+ preparations and I am glad we signed him up with Tecnis Academy. He enjoyed Maths,English, verbal and non verbal Reasoning.
The 1 to 1 helped him alot and the homework session also. We received his Medway test results 3rd October 2023 and he passed. I will continue to recommend Tecnis Academy. Thanks Tutu and your team.

I could not be happier with the Maths lessons my son attended. He learnt lots but more importantly to me he now loves Maths. The course not only taught him lots but also gave him confidence. He looks forward to Maths at school now rather than dreading it.

6 Week Maths Course
Tutu came in to our school and taught a small group. They all very much enjoyed the lessons and their confidence increased. The book followed a good sequence and built upon skills required through primary level.

My daughter attended Tecnis Academy’s Summer School Programme for one week last month, covering English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

She enjoyed the classes, commenting on how each session taught her something new, in particular, different (sometimes better!) methods of solving maths problems to those she already knew.

The online classes allowed her to meet other children of her age group in a different forum to what she’s used to and build her confidence in answering 11+ style questions.

The content covered was the ideal mix of easier through to more challenging questions. Each tutor was friendly and encouraging and took care to involve all children.

My daughter began online maths tuition with Tecnis academy when she was in year 9 at secondary school. She has just received her GCSE results and achieved 11 A and B grades, which she is really pleased with. She got an A in Higher Maths and a B in Further Maths.
The support with her maths studies that she has received over the years has been fantastic. She made use of the free 15 minute consultation that was offered every week and benefited from her tutor offering bespoke support with Further Maths.
