I had a great time with Techmap!

The whole course was fun, but really helpful. After 6 weeks, my knowledge of all the tech topics and jargon are finally taking the right place in my head.

It resulted on my work as a TA partner in making candidate screenings more accurate, better understanding of the software lifecycle allowed to build more trustful relationships with hiring managers and better designing and planing hiring strategy

TechMap was a great experience! Would recommend anyone in technical recruiting participate in this course. I came into this with no background in tech and feel much more confident in my skills related to app review and working with engineering candidates after taking the course. The content overall was great - my only feedback is that some of it took longer than originally listed in the module intros, and that it was intense added on top of my normal work priorities. I think if you know that going into the program, it is helpful to manage. Sam and Ruben were available for 1:1 sessions and questions along the way, and I felt fully supported and able to cater the experience to fit my skill level and needs. Take this course, you won't regret it!

Ruben and Sam were outstanding trainers, always making time and able to explain complex ideas in a way that for me (no tech experience) was able to understand. The techmap itself was great to interact with and the course as a whole was very slick and well put together.

Great course for those who need the basic overview of SDLC, technologies, and much more. Sam and Ruben are available and helpful.

Sam and Ruben did a course for recruiters coming from varied backgrounds and levels of experience, which is always a challenge! And they did great!

I love the concept mapping approach and interactivity. It was amazing to see how people completely new to many concepts immediately started making connections, explaining things using their own vocabulary, and, most importantly, gaining a lot of confidence.

I've learned a lot and got inspired to create a whole new taxonomy style that helps recruiters and hiring teams build better and more efficient processes.

Seeing what Sam and Ruben do makes me think I'd love to do that too! :)

As someone new to the tech industry, I found this course very helpful. I was part of an early cohort, so my reason for not giving 5 stars is due to still working out some of the kinks.

Pros:
- Interactive both in terms of the tool you use and working with colleagues
- Good cheat sheets and resources they provide. I still use them in my role
- Knowledgeable and fun team/facilitators

Cons:
- Though it was interactive, not all of the activities were incredibly productive
- Personally I wish more time was spent on the sales side vs explaining tech. I also wish there were more opportunities to role play (seeing instructor do it as well as colleagues)

It is a comprehensive and wide knowledge of this very specific market. I would highly recommend it for anyone interested

This training is really in terms short term program tech role, acquire knowledge and utilize in content for career progression.

Ruben was great and the course content is very applicable to technical recruitment. I didn't personally align with how the learning content was delivered, there's lot's of modules and lots of questions that meant I struggled to stay focused - some of the questions are really basic on the content you have just learnt, and are not too thought provoking, they seem almost pedantic at times.

I would recommend TechMap to anyone who wants to feel more confident partnering with technical teams.

I organised the training for myself and 4 others in our Talent Acquisition team, a group with little prior knowledge, and Ruben did a great job adapting the content to our beginner level. Also crucially he was able to highlight what we didn't need to know in great depth, and how to find more information if we needed.

Ruben is a great facilitator, and creates an environment where no question is a silly one! The Tech Map structure is super helpful for visual learners to see how all the topics fit together, and the content is useful to revisit when needed.

This was a brilliantly structured programme that took us step by step through the tech stack, the software developer life cycle, roles within tech and how they interact with each other and much more. With a visual map of modules, interactive learning and lots of productive group activities, this course provides a great overview of tech and has really built my knowledge in order to understand and address client's tech recruitment and skills needs.

This is a great course for anyone looking to refine, develop, explore new ways of selling to customers. The course offers various ways in which to learn new skills, practice them and apply them in the appropriate contexts.

Upon completion, I feel more confident to handle objections, apply technical knowledge and hold more insightful conversations with employers.

The Techmap program was highly engaging with a brilliant way of embedding hardcore technical concepts through easy-to-grasp instruction and the learner journey which was carefully curated to guide newbies to the intricacies of the software development world. Kudos to Ruben and Sam for developing a well-thought learning experience! Would definitely recommend this to individuals wanting to break into the sector.

The course found the right balance between challenging and accessible, the instructors we very knowledgeable and also created a great environment to learn where no question was a bad one. I would recommend this course!

It is a great training course!! I learned a lot with the content regarding the Tech topics and I reinforced my knowledge in the Sales topics.
Ruben is a great facilitator and he is always able to solve any doubts, he has great experience and gave us very good advice and examples. Also, the combination of having asynchronous learning material and then the synchronous sessions to discuss and practice what we learned, was very functional and helped me to understood the concepts better.

It's been a very useful and enjoyable course. As someone with almost zero knowledge of the tech stack before this course, I found the tech modules accessible but challenging and I've gathered new knowledge that I am applying to calls regularly.
The sessions were well run, engaging, and insightful - Ruben fostered an open and relaxing atmosphere.

This has been the best way of learning I could have ever asked for. The activities were straight to the point, easy to follow and to do, and very useful for our daily work. Not to mention the incredible work from Ruben and Sam (Bonni and Lucas aswell) for making this an interactive and extremely fun way to learn. Sessions were dynamic and interesting, Ruben put so much effort in explain and help us understanding every concept in depth. Really enjoyed the lessons, very interactive/engaging. Love the tech portion of the program especially as I learnt a lot and was very applicable for real-life scenarios.
