If I could leave negative stars I would. Misleading business practices, pushy and ignorant members of staff. The app itself is poorly put together and there are a number of free apps that offer better functionality. When you cancel the direct debit they threaten you with bailiffs even if you don’t want to use the app anyone.

They have structured it to be purposefully misleading so you sign up believing it a monthly rolling contract when in fact it’s a 12 month contract, so they extort a minimum of £80 out of every single person that downloads their app.

Avoid entirely, the app isn’t even worth £1.99 nevermind being bullied and threatened into paying almost £80.

12 month sign up in the small print, nothing about it mentioned in videos etc then threatened with legal action when the direct debit was cancelled.

After seeing copious adverts for Team RH I thought I would give it a try. I found that it wasn't for me within a couple of weeks as I find daily weigh ins and the quantities of food stuffs calculated for me unachievable. This just made me feel very negative about my journey so I decided to unsubscribe. Apparently I am now in a 1 year contract and not in a trial period! I have recieved extremely aggressively worded emails from Team RH that if I don't pay the rest of this 1 year contract off they will take me to court for the money.
Please read the fine print if joining this site as there is no trial period and I am now having to pay this site money for a service that does not suit me.

This is a hidden 12 month subscription plan. It won’t be obvious until you write to them to try to cancel. I’m now on my 6th email which is threatening me with £25 late fees and debt collectors. A bit intense for a food app. Would not recommend.

I am sorry but this is unacceptable response. I absolutely do not think your 12 months minimum term was clear.
The very nature you are paying monthly implies you can cancel anytime.
I do not want to continue with it I want you to cancel with immediate effect my account and direct debit.
I paid one month with view see how compares and how I would get on compared to nutracheck app I have been using years.
I dont like your app, its not for me where as it might suit others not me.
you have made this a most difficult process, I'm not happy.
Please action my request and lets be done with it.
Emails, delays and lack of transparency not a good look or great for business.

If I could give zero stars I would. I originally downloaded and at no point did I see anywhere I would be tied into a 12 month contract. Barely used a week, have had to have life saving surgery, cant eat 90 per cents of food or work out for the foreseeable. They have refused to cancel a subscription I did not realise I was tied into. Do not sign up, app is awful!!! I have had to send 8 separate email requests for them to just copy and paste.

No where at any stage does it say your are tied to 12 months. I take great pleasure in knowing this business will not last and come 2027 pretty sure there will be no team RH. I will also report to my bank as a fraud app and miss sold!!!! Disgusting!

Absolutely sucked me in to committing to a year without me realising. They did not make it clear that the monthly direct debit was a commitment for a year!!! And they have flatly refused to let me cancel.

I downloaded this app without realising I already had another active subscription and realised that paying for 2 was firstly not necessary and secondly was going to put a bit of strain on my bank account I emailed team rh within 24 hours of the download to see if I could cancel this subscription and they explained that you wave your right to a cooling off period by downloading their app. While legally yes they have been cleaver about this. I didn't feel this clear without digging through a long list of term and conditions and it would really put me off continuing to use this app after I can cancel and would really put me off recommending this company.

Without even using their product I now need to make payments for a year! So please dont me like me and think twice before downloading

Finally, I've found an app that fits with my family's lifestyle! For years I've been looking for help to manage my weight, the perfect tool, but nothing I've tried sticks because I'm a busy mum with 4 young kids so I'm either cooking food or surrounded by food.

Lovely daily vegan dishes with expensive ingredients just doesn't work long-term in this stage of my life. I also don't have oodles of cash to spend on myself to have a completely separate grocery list to my family. My priority is always my kids.

I've also found myself in a tricky recovery stage after an accident last year so exercise has gone out the window for now. None of that matters with this app. The secret is so obvious when you think about it. Just track every single thing that you eat/drink and stick to the calories you’re given. Then you will loose 😎

The support in this app has been amazing. I love the coaches, I love the voice notes and I’m so grateful I have stumbled across TeamRH in my 40’s. Only wish I could turn back the clock and find you in my late 20’s when my weight loss journey began. Still, better late than never. Thank you so much for helping me be the best healthiest version of myself today ☺️

You've got to laugh at all the 1 star reviews from grown adults who don't have the mental capacity to research a company before blindly buying an app without reading the terms and then crying when they realise they're locked in for a year.

I joined TRH last month and it's genuinely changed my life. My whole mindset and relationship with food has changed completely. For me there is no going back. The app is really straightforward and I love the interface. The support from the coaches and other members in the Official Facebook group is second to none. There's no denying the plan works if you follow it accurately, weigh EVERYTHING and actually put the work in. Too many people want spoon fed and their hand held through their weight loss journey but Team RH cut out the bull, provide you with the tools and knowledge and the rest is up to you. After being a member of slimming world for over 10 years and always ending up heavier than when I started TRH has given me my control back. And I would recommend to anyone and everyone who will listen. £7.99 a month and a wealth of knowledge and support is worth it's weight in gold. Thank you TRH. Haters gonna Hate.

Make sure my account was closed. I was advised that it was but as I didn’t cancel the payment it was still taken. Asked for a refund of £7.99, they have declined because the service was open to me at this time. I don’t even have the app! No compassion, treat you like a moron. Awful people!

So many people complaining about the hidden 12 month contract - and it IS purposely hidden and made obscure, make no mistake - check the upheld complaints at ASA/CAP. Yet, every reply is blaming the customer. Repeating the same crap.

Look mate, in business, if you get that many folk complaining, you don't tell them they are full of it. You look at why they are complaining, take it on board, and try to do better.

I've seen plenty of these self proclaimed gurus come and go over the years. Scott Francis comes to mind, utter clown of a man yet so many blindly followed, until they saw the truth. Richie, you are no better. Possibly worse given how you have sneakily pushed this out via an app, and then use fear based tactics to scare people and demand their money.

You know the product is sub par and better is available free, you know people don't read those walls of text before they click, and you know fine well your T&C's can't replace consumer rights but you make it look that way to scare people anyway. Scummy as hell brother, be better.

To anyone reading this getting the scary emails about debt collection agenciea or damage to your credit history if you don't pay - it is NONSENSE.

Firstly, no credit agreement was signed by yourself at any point in the checkout process. Therefore, nothing to affect credit history.

As for debt collection agencies, that costs more than it's worth. Unless it is RH Debt Collection services, or something this clown has made up. Also, fake legal letters are highly probable - usual MO of crook operations like this. Ignore.

If you are feeling excitable, report to trading standards, shout from the rooftops on Facebook, Reddit, everywhere.

I joined 6 months ago and the app is brilliant. The app sadly wasn't suitable for me as I have some very deep issues Im having to work through first, but I hold on to hope that one day i will be able to return. I still follow them on Facebook and although I have to censor which of their videos I watch due to their sometimes blunt nature, I appreciate its a "me" problem and they come from a good place. Once im mentally ready, teamrh will be my plan of choice.
Their customer service is really good too. Ive had some really helpful messages with them and I even got a message from coach Liam about a Facebook exchange we had and he was so sweet.

Made the same mistake as everyone else which is not noticing the try to lock you in to a 12 month contract, despite offering a 14 day cooling off period in which you can cancel. I’ve cancelled my direct debit and will not pay any further because they’re clearly misleading people, would encourage others to do the same. Clearly an unethical business model!

Joined by mistake through I was on another site cancelled within 20 minutes no reply sent four more emails cancelled at bank after the took direct debit and threatening emails. Contacting trading standards tomorrow

Used for about a week a didn't feel I was getting much out of it it's not really any different than MFP which Is free. Looking at a few users videos I saw one complaint that it was for a year fixed which I wasn't aware of. So emailed them and my bank to cancel my bank confirmed that no direct debit had been taken yet so I confirm I wanted to cancel within 14 days. I didn't realise in ticking the box to enter you wave your consumer right to 14 cooling off period or you cant use it so tells you everything you need to know about the business model.

They have been found to be misleading by trading standards and having zero opinion to use it without waiving your rights which is unlawful. Extremely threatening if you cancel the direct debit (which I did within 14 days before I know what was hidden in the t&C's) if they made it super obvious I doubt anyone would sign up. All very sneaky and misleading on purpose.

I've unfortunately lost my job so I would have had to cancel anyway but I will be working with them my bank and citizens advice to come to a resolution on this. Very unfortunate had I known I'd either have avoided all together or paid the full year at the time since there is zero difference which in itself is questionable.

Now I’m just going to go on personal experience, firstly people have to realise that as soon as you download the app you’re in an annual contract, Team RH, DO NOT hide this in any way they’re open about it and it’s personal choice whether you download the app. For me I didn’t like the app and regretted my decision, the recipes weren’t great at all (my opinion) I’m in the Facebook groups and this app does work for a lot of people and the results are there to be seen as well it all depends on the individuals discipline. This didn’t work for me due to my heavy endurance exercise routine, it was my fault but the rating I’m giving is entirely based on my opinion and whether it worked for me and it didn’t. I paid off my contract and deleted the app, the reviews calling them a scam with no cooling off period are wrong though they make this very clear if you read the terms.

Signed up, missed that I had committed to 12 monthly payments when signing up. Decided in the first couple of days it offered nothing more than free apps and cancelled direct debit. Now being threatened with debt collection so will have to pay £7.99 for a year. Feel like I’ve been scammed.

Great experience for me. Excellent App with all you need for calorie and nutritional info. Advice, meals and recipes on the App and recording for the weight loss journey. Support and Coaching included. I can highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to eat well and still lose weight.
