I started Tara’s Wednesday evening classes back in January (during lockdown) and now are totally obsessed with them and still doing them !
Tara is an amazing teacher, chef and has the best recipes that taste amazing (with even me cooking them)! Would also highly recommend the pudding club that she runs on Fridays - a true baker star as well!

We were lucky enough to experience one of Tara's classes for a birthday and could not have enjoyed it more. It was informative, interesting and so much fun. Tara was patient and engaging and I would highly recommend booking her class to people of all abilities.

During lockdown I learned lots of new skills and recipes on one of of Tara’s evening cookery groups on Zoom . She is a great teacher - good planning , clear instructions and always upbeat. As well as learning a lot, it was great fun and the delicious meals I produced were wolfed down by my appreciative family . I also recommend a personal lesson in your home or in Tara’s kitchen .

Such a great experience with Tara. She is so knowledgable and clear in her instructions. We have done a couple of in-person classes and I really enjoy the background knowledge she gives you in respect to the history of a dish / ingredients. We have also done virtual lessons which are great at bringing people together and also something different on a weekday evening. We have made the dishes Tara has taught us over and over again - they are real winners!

I have joined many of Tara’s online cookery classes- she makes cooking her fabulous recipes fun and informative. I’ve picked up lots of little tips along the way, learned new techniques and enjoyed some delicious recipes which I’ve continued to make at home. Highly recommended!

Fun, informative, organised and has got me cooking and trying things I would never have thought of previously. I thoroughly recommend Tara’s Cookery - she’s a great teacher.

I arranged a group of friends to do a cookery class with Tara. Honestly, it was fantastic. The location was just gorgeous. Tara is very professional, thorough and explains everything brilliantly. I came away having learned to make new recipes & very useful cooking techniques in a really fun atmosphere. I can't recommend her highly enough & am going back again!

Tara is the real deal! Great recipes made easy for cooks of all standards. Zoom classes are fun midweek from the comfort of your own kitchen …. In person, with a glass of wine is even better. I would recommend Tara to anyone!

Fantastic lesson, had a really fun time. Tara feels like a friend more than a teacher, and you come away in a cheerful mood, with great food!

I was invited to a ‘virtual’ cookery lesson party with Tara - it was one of the Lockdown highlights. Amazingly in one hour she taught us how to cook and prepare 3 (or was it 4) easy but quite sensational dishes. We had bought all the ingredients and we did it together from home via the computer! She made it great fun, she has very clever recipes, she was helpful, very patient and we had the MOST delicious dinner that evening!

Tara’s classes on a Tuesday evening were a delightful diversion from the boredom of Covid 19. She patiently guided us through some delicious recipes and my Tuesday dinners were the highlight of my week’s meals. I can’t always admit to the best presentation but the food was always fabulous. It was great to cook outside my comfort zone with Tara’s instructions and patience. Thanks Tara

I did Tara’s Thai green curry cookery course, which was absolutely excellent. It was during lockdown so all via zoom, she expertly managed varying WiFi speeds, culinary skills and daft questions (usually mine). I really enjoyed the class and learnt a lot from it. Highly recommend whether you’re already a competent cook looking to widen your dish offerings or are a new kid at the chopping block.

I adored my cooking classes and plan to do more. I learned a lot of new dishes and was inspired to do ones i had forgotten about

Tara curated such a perfect pasta making evening for us. Everything was beautifully thought out; it is so rare to experience all the pleasures of cooking without all the admin that comes with it. Tara is so knowledgeable about food, where it comes from, how to cook it and most importantly... how to eat it! Really special eve and now I can make pasta xxx

Having originally signed up for 4 Zoom classes in early January, I ended up doing 22 classes in total. Tara is super patient, and packs a lot into each class. We have learned new knife skills and vocabulary- julienne, brunoise, roll- cutting, chiffonade. Each menu has been varied and always super delicious. The classes have pushed me to be more adventurous and try making new things- falafel, samosas, gyozo and gnocchi. I’ve really enjoyed recreating my favourite recipes. The classes are a super fun way of cooking and plating up a delicious dinner for the family at the end.

Brilliant fun! Tara kept the pace moving whilst still accommodating individual questions - we made a delicious curry and LOVED her rice trick. Xx

Have loved all my online classes with Tara. She makes it such fun and explains things so well whilst keeping us up to our work so we get the dishes ready in time! I have been asked for quite a few of the recipes by friends I have cooked for since as they have been so impressed with the finished results. It’s been great adding these new plates of food to my previously rather limited repertoire! Highly recommend!

I came to one of Tara's cheese-making classes with my granny, mother, and some of my mother's friends. We had such a hoot! Tara was very knowledgeable and professional, and everything was set out beautifully for us when we arrived. It was such a lovely touch to have wine throughout, and our butter, mozzarella and ricotta all came out beautifully. I couldnt recommend Tara Cookery more! Mum's friends still talk about the laugh they had, and they are also putting their cheese-making skills to practice by continuing to make the cheeses using Taras methods. Such a perfect present!
