As a family we took the Thai 6 week course and looked forward to it each week hugely. It was such fun, easy to follow recipes, something for everyone and delicious. Really jollied up the week and has made us more experimental with Asian flavours. Tara is very good at remote teaching, clear and patient and happy to answer questions.

Our class with Tara was absolutely spectacular. We were a group of six and went for the Indian menu, where Tara’s many years living in India and cooking the cuisine were evident with tips for a simple but highly effective rice technique and two of the best curries I’ve ever eaten and certainly the best I’ve made! The evening in general was so enjoyable with drinks and a delicious dinner of everything we cooked at the end and I’d highly recommend it to anyone - I consider myself a keen cook but there was so much to learn and it’s perfect for people of any level. Thanks so much!

I am a total fan of Tara Cookery and must have completed at least 10 of her Zoom on line courses since lockdown. I have explored many new recipes, including Indian and Asian. Tara's recipes are just absolutely delicious,and she takes one through all the steps in such an enthusiastic and cheerful way that it is sheer joy to have her demostrating on the small screen in my kitchen. As she provides a recording too, the sessions and recipes can be repeated and I have done this with all my favourites. Highly recommended.

Tara ran an online cookery class for approx. 10 of us as a fun work event. We made Veg or Prawn Pad Thai (based on each of our individual preferences), Asian Avocado and Green Bean Sesame Salad as well as Asian slaw. Every dish tasted incredible and Tara was amazing at making sure we could all keep up with the cooking. She was very clear and easy to follow. She also gave loads of cooking tips along the way! I highly recommend!

Could not recommend Tara more - full of energy, enthusiasm, stories of cooking across the world, and of course she has some excellent recipes to teach you. We had a brilliant evening and managed to squeeze in two different delicious curries, Indian chutney, raita, chapattis and the perfect rice. Thank you!

It was a fantastic evening, we had such a great time and finally have a dish my Mum can cook - would highly recommend!

Having been recommended Tara Cookery’s on-line lessons I decided to sign up and have not been disappointed. Tara’s instructions are very clear with useful hints and tips along the way. I could not make one lesson (of 4) but Tara emailed me the video so I didn’t miss out. The recipes are yummy and I love that Tara has menu planned my family’s Tuesday night supper!

What an amazing evening. We purchased this as a present for my parents who were both thrilled with it all. Tara is so personable and makes you feel right at ease in the Kitchen. We learnt so many different tricks that we will certainly be using going forward. We cannot wait to re create the dishes for family and friends. It was such a wonderful experience and we will definitely be doing again!! Perfect present, date night, friends activity or even solo. Thoroughly recommend!!! Thank you Tara :)

I LOVE Tara’s cooking courses. I’ve just done the vegetarian one. I’m not a vegetarian but it’s always handy to have recipes up your sleeve for the veggie guests. I’d do any course Tara offered as it’s such fun.

Tara explains everything very well and provides lots of handy tips. All the recipes have been great - the main challenge has been to find some of the ingredients locally!

I booked a private italian cooking class with Tara last week for my girlfriend's birthday. It was an excellent experience overall.

Tara is great - she explains things really well and in detail, and gives you space to try it out yourself. She clearly knows a lot about food in general.

We worked together to craft the menu of the class, which was really nice. I really appreciated her flexibility to accommodate my requests.

10/10 definitely recommend.

Recently I enjoyed a fun and fabulous evening with a bunch of girlfriends at Tara Cookery learning knife skills and to cook a tasty Vietnamese dinner, which we eagerly devoured aat the end of our lesson.

We gossiped and giggled as we chopped, sliced and wrapped…and drank wine!

Tara brilliantly and masterfully managed to instruct us through our noisy chat and we learnt to make delicious Vietnamese rolls and pickles, Goi Buoi and Soba Noodles with Sesame Tahini Sauce.

If you’re looking for a truly scrumptious and special experience with a bunch of friends or family then I highly recommend an evening with Tara Cookery. A cookery lesson with Tara would also make a great present and experience, and I shall be buying one for the family this Christmas!

Wonderful, fun, informative evening with Tara. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Absolutely loved the evening with the gorgeous Tara at the helm. We we a group of 6 old friends. I couldn't think of a nicer way to spend an evening together. We laughed and teased each other throughout the evening about our chopping skills or presentations. Tara did well to keep us sort of in check! We nicked named the elegant evening as chop, chat and giggles evening. We did learn alot too about Vietnamese cooking and I will certainly be trying out my new skills with rice paper and vegetables. It was truly delicious, very spoiling and relaxing too. I cannot recommend this enough. Tara also offers gift vouchers which is an excellent idea for Christmas presents. Thankyou Tara x
