Great price and delivery from this company. 1st time using them, bought a new battery for my motorbike and I’m delighted with service provided, recommended.

5 stars for Tanya ! This particular Battery I wanted was out of stock but with great correspondence from Tanya they actually turned around so quickly I was totally surprised when it arrived 24 hours later as they were talking around 3-5 business days..

Had previously ordered a battery for my car from 2 other companies; both shown as in stock. Neither arrived, so order(s) cancelled and refunded.
Then ordered a Varta car battery from Tanya. Order processed and battery handed to delivery company the following day. It arrived the next working day. It was really well packaged.

Waited all day for a car battery delivery from Tanyabatteries , two of us took turns waiting by the door, watching the online driver tracker getting closer.
We were supposed to be 12 or so driver ‘stops’ to delivery when Yodel online tracker told us that we were not in & the driver had left a card...we were in & the driver had not left a card, really poor service & a terrible feedback system make Yodel a bad joke of a company.
This is not the first time Yodel have let us down & if I know a company uses them in advance I will not purchase from them.
My heart sank when I saw this delivery was from Yodel....& sure enough they let us down.
We are still waiting in for delivery....
Ok so update, many thanks to Jay at Tanya batteries, he answered the phone quickly & replied to messages too. Jay also contacted Yodel & finally got our battery today.
Although a day was wasted due to the delivery firm (Yodel) I will add stars back for Jay & his customer service.
Jay also said if you phone ahead of order they can use an alternate courier company.
All in all I get the feeling Tanyabatteries are ok but need better backup from their courier company.

so the battery failed after 9 months and after much emailing I decided to drive the item back to Abergele , they seem polite and professional on the surface but came up with an excuse which cost me 6 hrs driving and a battery out of profit !!! take my advice buy local and not from these people.... Btw the battery I bought to replace the duff item is still working fine and well...... avoid at all costs and buy elsewhere

see below no explanation or reason just sorry your on your own , your cars not at fault but the battery failed (we think) no ones fault but we will not honour the warrenty ps thanks for the 80 quid

Many thanks for your message.

So while the car was not in use for this 3 week period, something for some reason has discharged the battery. This is most likely an isolated incident, as you do not frequently leave the car weeks unused, will probably not happen again.

However as the batter was so deeply discharged, and this can be seen in the resting voltage the battery was returned to us at, that the battery is no longer able to accept a charge. This is not down to any manufacturing fault I'm afraid, but as a result of the discharge.

I also want to add that this has nothing to do with the car's charging system, and I would expect that to work correctly once a non discharged battery was used.

GUARANTEE USELESS!!
Although these batteries come fast and well packaged the Guarantee is a total waste of time unless you have a lot of time on your hands. Having had a few issues with my caravan and this new leisure battery from Tanya, fitted 4 mths ago! I decided that whilst it was in for a service over Xmas that they check for the cause of the faults in battery draining. Upon picking up the caravan I was informed that a faulty battery was at fault. I emailed Tanya and they want the battery sending back to them at my cost and also the dam thing weighs in excess of 27kg!! That’s over a bag of cement in weight!! As I work away from home it is impossible to expect my wife to package and post this faulty battery back to them. She attempted to bag it up and ripped the bag with struggling.
Upon again voicing that there must be an easier solution, they replied that they would send another bag out and to send the battery back. I think they are banking on people not to send them back like me now so they don’t have to honour the so called guarantee. This is not a pair of shoes that we are dealing with, this is a highly dangerous and explosive material especially if dropped or damaged in transit. DON’T BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT A GOOD GUARANTEE.

Bought a car battery for my Renault Megane 1.5 diesel hatchback. The battery is very powerful and just what I needed to easily start my car in this cold icy weather. I am very pleased with it and it was the perfect fit. The battery I bought was a Bosch S5008 77Ah 780A starts the car really easily. I am very happy with my purchase which was delivered in two days though (not next day as it says on the web site). My only qualm is that when entering my registration number on the Tanya web site it only brought up one battery, which was smaller size than I wanted and underpowered. It was only about 56ah and 600a which for diesel is not enough. The last battery I bought at that size struggles to start the car in freezing weather. However, I rang the company and the assistant I spoke to was very helpful and advised me on the battery to buy which was perfect. I just hope it lasts longer than the 12 months of my last one - even so, if it doesn't it has at least got a 3 years guarantee if it fails. Overall great service and would use them again.
