Although I had to wait about 4 weeks for my appt, the session was worthwhile and helpful. The guidance was clear and easy to understand.

Free of charge and can be used as many times as required. The call was not rushed: the adviser had plenty of time to go through the information and my questions in detail. The information provided was comprehensive and very clearly explained. I was given lots of additional information about other Money Helper resources i.e. on the website. Overall I was surprised and delighted with how worthwhile and valuable the service is

Having taken an advert from Facebook to book an appointment with a pension advisor I found out the hard way that wasn't the best thing to do.
Making an appointment with MoneyHelper and discussing everything without any hard sell is definitely the best way forward.
You can discuss your personal situation and opinions and receive unbiased information. I now feel more confident about my pension and less stressed than previous when I was almost "forced" to "transfer " it immediately with no other options. Highly recommended.

No one contacted me

I contacted Moneyhelper when a previous employer was insisting I take financial advice in order to withdraw from their scheme. Moneyhelper quickly provided me with the information I needed to challenge my employer, who immediately caved in.

They gave clear advice on pension rules and answered all my questions on matters I needed to know about. I used the WebChat service and it worked really well.

I know nothing about pensions and saw an ad for Pension Wise so thought I'd give them a try. I rang to make a telephone appointment and the Advisor rang exactly on time and asked me security questions set up during my first call to arrange the meeting so I knew it wasn't a scam call. My Advisor, Sarah, was lovely and incredibly patient and clear, explaining and repeating things if I wasn't too sure. Excellent service and I would definitely recommend AND it's a free service.

Overall well impressed with Pension Wise - time taken, explanations of the 6 Options for defined contribution personal pension, tax info and pension facts to familiarize with. Ease of making appointment, secure communication and spreadsheet summary of meeting/discussion.

My options were explained and I understood

I just spent an hour on the phone just to be told they recommended I help myself. Even though I expressed difficulty communicating with my creditors due to my anxiety. Person o the phone was rude, sharp, and impatient. I just wanted some relief approaching my baby’s arrival and I’ve just not gotten any real immediate support.
