Wouldn’t even give them 1 star to be honest absolutely useless awful and idiotick!
Never use this company they will waste your time and loose you business and seem to think that its not a problem. Why elavon have started working with them I have no idea but make sure you never use them it’ll ruin your business and waste over a week of your time

I tried to use this for 1 month to get my business started. Customer service is horrible. They were not knowledgeable and would tell me to do one thing, call back because it didn't work and the next rep would have me undo what the other rep told me to do. After 30 days, I still was unable to use it and was charged for it. Horrible experience.

They charged me fee $25 for not having minimum transactions per month !!! after some years without letting me knowing and they said they sent notifications !!!plus high processing fees that went up every year
They are really spam

Both Talech and Elavon customer service is so bad that whenever you call them you will spend your whole day dealing with several agents either dropping your call or they don't know what they are doing. And sometimes one call will take you 2 hours. Their service is so poor I wonder how they are still in the business. Reminder to the agent or PR person, responding to my review will not resolve anything. You should improve your training and services!

I concur with the recent reviews. This unfinished product is garbage.

I run a 4 month a year Ice Cream stand, and there wasn't a day that went by when we didn't have a bug or a complete failure of the system. And we didn't even use most of the supposed functionality of the software. Every staff member had to know how to reset the computer and the printers when we encountered any number of daily issues.

The customer service is friendly, but doesn't actually fix anything. There's no point in calling. They tell you to restart your computer, your printer, or they'll "submit a ticket" that never actually solves the underlying problems in the software.
We never actually made it past the "setup" phase... It never actually worked.

As silly as it sounds, there are spelling errors in the error messages themselves. No one actually took the time to edit these and this is indicative of the entire software system. I spent the summer worried about what would go wrong next.

Finally, as I'm wrapping up and sending back the gear and cancelling my subscription (to both Talech and Elavon because I can't believe Elavon wants to stay connected to such crap), I tried to create a report of all the items I've sold in the last 4 months. You can't. Well, you can if you have the time to click and unclick every item, variation, modifier, etc that you sell, in groups of 20 -- because the software is only capable of reporting on 20 items at a time. If you sell 5 different sizes of 5 different t-shirts, you won't be able to get one complete report of how many t-shirts you sell. Seriously? What are we paying for?

This software was a major thorn in what was otherwise a great summer business. It should sell for $5.99 on Steam. Buy only if you're looking for a low-budget headache.

Talech is a Garbage Co. Starting from lying sales ppl upselling functions that don’t exist. To horrible cheap underdeveloped software lacking any functions to account manager Antoine Willer who never responds. Ever. Even their phone numbers are messed up. How hard it is to give correct number??? I call correct ph # for Taleck every time they tell me “oh you got to speak with Taleck” but I did dialed it. Their software is a total garbage! No ability to do partial refunds without CC present or CC numbers, no reports, no transactions, I asked to have CC fees deducted automatically on each transaction and send the difference but no, they deduct CC fees separately, and it’s confusing you don’t know that charge belongs to which transaction. Functionality can’t be achieved on 1 platform. You got to learn and use all 3. There are no customers names attached to each transactions, there’s no copy and paste even functions, I can go on and on. I came from Square with perfect software. TALECH IS FAR behind. You will be driven to insanity because every day there’s issue that takes 2hrs to solve. Mostly not solvable. WHY IN A WORKD WOULD THEY BE ALLOWED TO BE IN BUSINESS IF THEYVE NO IDEA HIW TO BE SND THEIR TOOLS ARE TRASH ????

The feds need to be aware of this scam company

Worst company to deal with now. They used to be good when they had a different software but then they switched to new software before eliminating bugs and incomplete functionality. You cant even calculate your taxes for year end and I have been asking for this for a YEAR. Dont waste your time or money with these guys!!!

The bottom line is that this is a horrible company to deal with. Run away as fast as you can. I would give them a negative 10 if I could. We have struggled with them for five years. They brought out an "upgrade" that was worse than what they had before. The reports are garbage. You have no idea where they got the data. You can not run your business with this software. Support is useless. Issues linger for months if they ever get resolved. Upper management keeps themselves buffered from the end users. They don't care. We are rapidly looking to replace it with something else.

Avoid talech. They’ve been updating for over a year and the product is not what you want. They were purchased by USBank and forced everyone to integrate with the elavon processor. Customer service is TERRIBLE. None of the departments talk to each other and it’s a run around every time you call. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this new register -- here is just a short list of problems we continue to have on a regular if not daily basis.
- the register sporadically not letting us enter more that one letter to search for a product (this problem was 2minutes away from causing us to lose a 300$ sale -- and eventually could only be fixed by doing a factory reset )
- product search not finding products in the menu
- product updates not saving to the menu
- we still cannot enter weights of bulk items or produce
- discounts are not being applied correctly (this problem cost us over 100$ this week alone)
- we can't see product markups in the product menu
- the keyboard covers the products when you try to search for items, and in order to clear the keyboard you have to touch the screen and often accidentally add an item to the order
- open orders preventing us from making changes to our product menu
- the register randomly creating open orders
- we can't see the distributor in the product menu
- tips cannot be applied correctly to orders
- customers have to re-enter their email everytime they want to email themselves a receipt despite it being saved to their account and the order being associated with the customer.
- we have to regularly restart the system to fix glitches
... there are more but I am tired and want to go to bed

if I could leave a 0 I would. Talech has caused nothing but problems and stress. Customer support is useless half the time. Barcodes never scan. System always freezes or shuts down and we end up on the phone for hours. Longest phone call we had so far lasted 5 hours because system shut down on a holiday and then after being transferred for the 10th time they hung up and never resolved problem. I have to resort to using a calculator and hand write card info to even get a sale 1/3 of the time . Everything about talech is a disgrace.

Absolutely horrible experience. Sent the reder, it didn't work. Received a second reader, didn't work. I've was still billed for the reader, AND not making the card transaction minimum. NO KIDDING the reader didn't work. Refund? You must be joking. I am still responsible for the minimum usage fees.

Talech has a category on their device called open orders. These are transactions that have not been paid to our bank account. Customer service could not answer why the money was not paid to our account. We were asked to go to our bank branch. Our bank branch did not have any answers to why the money was not credited to our bank account. They only recommended to write down every customer's name that comes in our business. Record keeping of transactions disappear, so you need to keep printing every transaction daily, or you will lose records. We switched over to Chase and we are thankful we made the change. I do not recommend this fraudulent company to anyone.

To be honest, if I can give this company a negative 10 stars I would they have stolen my money They refuse to give me my money. They have stolen $807 they refuse to give me this money back. I don't owe them no money. And they can't prove to me that I owe them any money. They keep telling me that my money has been released to my bank and it has been nearly a week. Please do not trust this company. Please do not use this company this company. As a fraudulent company and eventually, you will lose money dealing with this company.

Awful customer service. Machine has broken down multiple times, many features don't work. New 'updated' version of their website is horrendous.

The customer service is a joke - they say they have tried to call when they haven't, say 'everything is fine now' when they have fixed nothing at all nor contacted us.

Well since my last review I was just told tonight that their system is working and that they will not refund our money. I then ask for all 29 of the recorded calls and they have declined releasing those also. I am going to our local news that reports on shady businesses and I have also contacted the BBB. For any company that is reading this lets band together and get what we deserve! No company should be treated this way. Yours or mine....I am going to start a social page about Talech. If you want to band together contact me Big4escape Jeffersonville Indiana...have to put company name due to it will not accept email address in review.. Another funny thing is I even wrote a letter to the Head Senior VP and have had no response. Makes me think no one at that company is willing to accept responsibility

Waste of time and money, dont even think about it as an option. They will over charge, you have to send about 30 emails to close the account, until they close, they will charge you every single momth and they dont refund

I had Talech software license for my foodtruck business for years. Their tech support was excellent always. What’s so horrible is their accounting and billing. It’s ironic since it’s US bank that does it. I closed my business June last year but I paid for a whole year of service instead paying it monthly not knowing that I was going to close. I paid in 4/10/21 and cancel the service as of 6/30. I contacted them several times about if I can get reimbursed. No one from accounting/billing got back to me. So I forgot about. This week I got a bill from them on 4/10/22 and they charged my credit card. I called customer service right away and she confirmed that it was their mistake and said she would send the issue to accounting and I would hear from them next morning. 3 days passed I didn’t hear so I email them again… nothing so I sent a angry email complaining about their poor business conduct and customer service. They finally credited back the mistaken charge. So I asked about last years charge and reimbursement… crickets again. No one is getting back to me. I even said if it’s your policy to keep the money just tell me so…. Crickets.
I can’t believe they do business this way. I’m thinking of closing my bank accounts at US bank. DO NOT use Talech. There are better services out there.
