Absolutely brilliant! It was a birthday present for my 90 year old father and it was just perfect. Everybody was very friendly and we all had a great time. The video of the flight will be shared with other family members and looked at many times. The whole experience was worth every penny.

Absoluely fantastic experience, since my flight I have been trying to convince everyone I've met that its something they should do!!
The experience was 20mins long but in that time James explained the controls, demonstrated some basic aero moves and under guidance allowed me to perform a banked turn and an aileron turn!!
James was brilliant, the aircraft was brilliant. If I could give more than five stars i would!!!!

I had an amazing flight with my pilot James. Such a treat just to fly in this historic aircraft, let alone getting to have a go at flying it myself. James went through some aerobatic manoeuvres as well which was really fun, my first time looping and rolling in any aircraft.
A great experience and all run and organised by a very friendly group in the air and on the ground. The video I got was also very good and funny to watch back and see my reactions during the loops etc.

My experience was incredible, I had fun while I felt safe with the pilot David. I recommend it 100%

Fantastic day from start to finish. Fighter mission sortie with Pilot Dave Petters was a truly great experience from the mission briefing through to the flight itself. The Pilots support staff and people running the flight operations at Conington airfield could not have been more welcoming and friendly towards us, all great to talk to and be in their company for the few hours we were there. The T6 is a wonderful aircraft and I will definitely be heading south for another visit and flight at some time in the future.

What an experience, I chose the BATTLE OF BRITAIN experience, to feel what it was like in a war plane in "under fire" conditions, wow, it was scary but awsome, the feeling of going in to combat at the average age of 19 with little flying experience and being under fire from the enemy must have been terrifying, adrenaline pumping, total respect to those brave men.
My pilot today was David, he was great, put me and the "WABBIT" through its paces with tight 4.5G turns, barrel rolls, split 8, half Cuban and more, after the flight I certainly knew what "squeeze" meant. Can't recommend these guys and ground crew enough for an absolute "spiffer" of a day, well worth every penny. Go on, you know you want to. 5*

If I could give more stars, I would. Fabulous pilots, James Hepnar especially fantastic. Beautiful day, up close and personal with the plane and the flight was out of this world. Words cannot describe the experience.

Fantastic experience in the Wacky Wabbit. I had the best time ever )))

I had the most AMAZING flight today in the Wacky Wabbit and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this experience to anyone considering this. It was an early 70th birthday present from my family and I loved every minute of it! I'm not a 'flyer' but the whole experience from start to finish was great. Pilot James and Mike were very professional but also took the time to make me feel totally relaxed and at ease and I felt safe and confident!! Many thanks to all involved for making my experience one which I'll never forget!!! All the best, Pat Day

I have always enjoyed flying in different aircraft types when finances allow. A Harvard had been on my list for a long while and my chance finally came on 10th October. Although the weather looked very unpromising when I arrived in the morning and led to a bit of a delay, communication from Dominic, my pilot for the day, was excellent throughout so that I was able to amuse myself at Duxford until the time came. The aircraft was beautifully presented inside and out and expertly flown by Dom who was brave enough to allow me to handle the controls. An added bonus was flying from Fowlmere, itself an historic WWII airfield with both RAF and USAAF history. My 20 minute flight was over all too soon, but was a never to be forgotten experience. Much as I love Chipmunks and Tiger Moths, a big radial engine growling away at the front takes some beating!
My thanks must go also to Andrew for the seamless booking process and to Tim for strapping me in and arranging the in-cockpit video.

First time in a tail dragger and this was a great choice. Confident, friendly and very informative pilot… and such an iconic aircraft. Very well organised and seamless process. Highly recommend this experience .

He was able to set the scene and gave a wonderful account of the history of the plane , airfield and surrounding area.

The flight was ok.

T6 Harvard Ltd completed my type conversion from Tiger Moths and Chipmunks, on to the mighty T6 Harvard!

The quality of the instructors was to notch, demonstrating the vices of this aircraft in a very user friendly way.

Since this check out, I have solo hired this aircraft, the only T6 Harvard available to self fly hire.

I have been very fortunate to have been invited to fly this aircraft for the air experience flights, having amassed 40hrs solo hire.

I can’t recommend this to any vintage aircraft pilot enthusiast more. Andy and the team are thoroughly professional and (not speaking for myself) the instructors are excellent.

I hope this, slight insider review, is useful and we see you on a conversion course or air experience flight very soon.

This is a one off chance to fly a T6 solo!

An all round amazing experience, with an informative briefing, explaining the manoevres we would undertake during the flight (BoB experience) from our pilot David.
Highly recommended to anyone thinking of taking a flight. A must for anyone interested in WWII history.

Sunday 26th Sept at Fenland Airfield,took in the Battle of Britain Experience as an early birthday treat to myself.
I must own up to being a little nervous that doing aeros would leave me feeling rather unwell and take the edge off it as an experience. I'm no novice flyer but it's been a while since I've been flung about experiencing G forces as there has been no call for it in my LAPL training! I should not have worried. After talking through my preferences and coming up with a revised plan with the pilot I mixed up some aeros with hands on flying time. Thanks very much for the informative, helpful and pragmatic suggestions from an absolutely top bloke. As such I got a flight to remember. Thankyou Dave Petters for helping put me at ease (very different feeling to the Jet Provost post flight!😉)
Absolutely loved it, would recommend to anyone who asks me. Wabbit is beautiful and the crew a great bunch.

Fantastic experience in the Wacky Wabbit. I had the great pleasure of learning about which Battle of Britain maneuvers the pilots of that time had to use to evade or attack the enemy and then actually carry them out in the air! It's a very relaxed & friendly atmosphere. I'd recommend it to anyone who can stomach the G forces :)

I've been hoping to fly in a Harvard for quite a while and it's finally crossed off my bucket list as a 75th birthday present. The experience in Wacky Wabbit at Fenland exceeded my expectations and I'm glad I went for the Battle of Britain option. Pilot Dave Petters gave a clear explanation before and during each of the manoeuvres and his skilful flying through them showed just how demanding it would have been for young fighter pilots to keep up the intensity of flying in combat day after day. The 'Split-S turn', pulling 4g, was particularly memorable amongst a series of steep turns and rolls. I had a number of goes 'in control' which added to the fun.
I'm very proud that I now have a Harvard flight in my logbook which will stand out from my more sedate microlight hours.

A brilliant "Battle of Britain Experience" flight at Fenland Airfield. The flight in Wacky Wabbit was impressive, and the whole experience was enhanced by pilot David Petters enthusiasm in relating the various aerial manoeuvres we did to WWII aerial combat.

Absolutely enjoyed my flight aboard ‘Wacky Wabbit’ today a truly epic experience, thanks Dave Peters and team.
