When arriving at the airfield we were greeted by the staff who took our details and advised us of times of flights, local weather conditions and the pilots who were flying on the day, all were very friendly and informative. We had a cup of tea and looked around the outside waiting area, admiring the mural painted on the hangar, depicting a Boeing B 17 with flight crews. We were kept informed about flight times and any delay due to weather, there was a good deal of activity on the apron with light aircraft movements. When it was our turn to fly we were given a briefing and shown out to the aircraft, this was ideal as there was plenty of time to photograph each other during the boarding, strapping in, taxying and take off, great views available. On my flight I was introduced to the pilot, then boarded, strapped in and intercom checked for level, Adam, the pilot was very good, asking me about previous flying experience and running through what to expect, his commentary during the flight was really good calling out speed, altitude and landmarks. Once up to cruise altitude I was given the opportunity to take control, the aircraft is very light and responsive, with Adam giving direction it was a very enjoyable experience, he then asked if I would like to see what the aircraft was capable of, saying we could go upside down, fantastic. He then built up speed and pulled the aircraft into a steep climb followed by an aileron roll, this was repeated in several directions, brilliant! Then we headed back to the airfield for a very smooth landing. What a great experience, i think I was even smiling in my sleep. This is the best flight I have ever had, and would recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure they will always remember.

I had a fab flight in Wacky Wabbit on Sat 30th April from Connington, on a beautiful clear sunny day - it was a present from friends and family to celebrate a "big birthday"!
The airfield location was great for me, as the trip down (from Edinburgh to Peterborough by train, followed by a pleasant cycle to Connington), was all part of the fun.
I'd been for flights before in 3 glider types, a Tiger Moth, and a Stearman before - all of which I've loved... But I have to say a flight in a Harvard was by far the most exciting - especially the aerobatic moves! My smile lasted for ages afterwards!
I'd really love to go back to try the B of B Experience flight sometime soon!

I should also say that the whole process - from booking on line, after-sales support, information emails and then the friendly team on the day, was superb.

My son and I recently took flights in Wacky Wabbit at Peterborough Connington. I was keen to see what I can remember from a small amount of flying about 60 years ago and to learn something about my fathers wartime experiences learning to fly on Harvards. Angus was keen on a more robust experience with G Forces. Neither were disappointed and we were both still smiling all the way back to Scotland. All the crew were aircraft enthusiasts with experienced pilots and their enthusiasm for aviation was catching. Altogether a memorable experience to celebrate my 75th birthday. I need to keep myself fit for the next significant date.

I did the Battle of Britain experience on the 7th of May 2022 at Conington airfield in Cambridgeshire and would strongly recommend it to anyone.
The pilots and ground crew are very friendly which makes the whole day a very special occasion.
The memories of this will stay with me forever.

What can I say I've still got a massive grin on my face twenty four hours later. A fantastic experience for all aviation enthusiasts, run by friendly ground staff and pilots a memorable day.

Second best birthday present ever ( my puppy senna no1) I went up and had a battle of Britain simulation flight. Power, performance and provenance. An unforgettable experience, the smells, the sights and the g's, it brought a real tear to my eye getting a glimpse into the eye of a ww2 fighter pilot, those young men really were HEROS and we owe everything to them and all other veterans, I've always respected and honour this but today I truly has a taste of it, obviously we didn't have any me109's on our tale but a couple of cesnas got the scare of their lives! ....... it was a surprise gift and what a surprise. From the knowledgeable and friendly ground crew to the talented pilot thank you for an unforgettable experience. IF YOU'RE THINKING OF BOOKING , DONT BOTHER THINKING. Booked for my partner's 30th birthday and from the moment we arrived to the minute we left we felt so welcomed! It's a real joy being surrounded by people who have such a strong passion for flying and it was incredible to get to be apart of it for a morning! Thank you so much H absolutely loved it so did Alaska maybe she will get her wings when she grows up!

I recently flew before the air show at Shuttleworth. Staff kept me well informed of when the flight would be ready and gave good assistance on how to enter the cockpit, as it was quite a climb up.

I had a good briefing from the pilot (sorry, I cannot remember his name), and really enjoyed the flight.
Instruction was very hands on. I could feel how responsive the aircraft was and could sense that I was really flying it. the pilot also did a left roll and then a right roll, which was very exhilarating.

Great experience. I would recommend it to anyone interested in classic aircraft and flying.

Flew in the Wacky Wabbit at the Shuttleworth Airshow at Old Warden.Very helpful ground staff and my pilot Adam was first class.Thoroughly recommend these guys if you are wanting to fly the Harvard.

Very quick service. Friendly people, no matter who you talk to. Did 20min with aeros and even took control. Lovely airplane.

This flight was an eightieth birthday present from my family. It was originally booked for October 21 at Shuttleworth bur the weather that day meant that there was absolutely no flying possible. So my trip was re-scheduled for May 1st this year with no problem. On arrival my family and I were all greeted to an extremely friendly welcome and explanation of the arrangements. As my knees are not in very good order I was rather apprehensive about getting into the plane, but nothing was too much trouble for the ground crew and I was quite easily ensconced into the rear seat. The flight was absolutely awesome. I was offered control of the plane but declined as I wanted to concentrate more on the technical aspect. Andy, my pilot, performed a couple of rolls and some wingovers with which I was absolutely delighted - not a hint of nausea! On return to ground level I did need a little assistance to climb out but this was given freely and willingly. On top of everything I now have a video recording of the whole flight. Well done indeed T6 Harvard, an outstanding flight which I shall always treasure. Thank you.

You bump into someone in the pub and the next thing you know you’re up in the air, circling the village and tipping the wing to your house. Loved every minute of it and may be brave enough for a roll next time. Many thanks, Andy! Lee

Andy very kindly donated a flight experience in the T6 Harvard, as an auction prize for a quiz night held to raise money for The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust, which I was was lucky enough to secure with the highest bid.
What an afternoon, I was soon strapped in and up we went in a warbird! it was awesome! a clear afternoon could see for miles, Andy was very informative about the aircraft and what was happening, all to soon we were landing.

I was lucky enough to go on a flight in this beautiful aircraft, i went on the battle of britain experience absolutely amazing,I went to the wrong airfield by mistake and was late but the staff were fantastic said not to rush just get there safe, when i arrived i was with my wife and 3 young children, they absolutely loved the day and the flight was incredible, one of the most amazing things i have ever done and would recommend this to anyone, definitely one for the bucket list.

A fabulous friendly team in the air and on the ground, this is historic aviation at its best. Many thanks to David, my pilot on the day, and the rest of Team Wabbit at Peterborough Conington airfield to help me remember my Father and his 39 years of RAF engineering service, including the Harvard.

I was very nervous about taking on this experience, but oh WOW ! what an experience of a life time. Adam & Donny and all the team at Peterborough made me feel firstly very welcome and secondly guided me through the experience extremely well. Adam was amazing at explaining everything we did whilst in the Harvard T6 and he really made this experience exceptional with his calm explanations and superb flying skills.. Enthusiasts, thrill seekers or just a new experience this really is a very worthwhile 30 mins to appreciate the amazing skill and bravery of Battle of Britain fighter pilots. Thank you Andy and huge thanks Adam - you're a star!

A Fantastic exhilarating day and flight with the Wacky Wabbit team on April 9th. Professional, informal and friendly - a perfect combination. Conington airfield is also a great and welcoming location to fly from. My pilot, David Petters, was excellent and very reassuring as he demonstrated the key Battle of Britain manoeuvres. The cockpit video is also a brilliant memento, A wide grin and a big thumbs up from me for the whole team.
