I went with this company for my tax return
After they sent me the document sign they all said how much I had to pay them out of the refund I wasn’t happy with paying that amount so I removed them from acting as my tax agent and I went else were

Now they won’t stop emailing for there fee I didn’t go ahead with them so they dont deserve to be paid also now threatening with CCJ

Appalling communication

This company is shocking the communication is a disgrace I had emails from them telling me to read and and reply to emails straight away but he takes days to reply so not quite sure where the logic is in that however it's unacceptable so won't be using this company again

Bad company trying charge pepole £72…

Bad company trying charge pepole £72 per year for a self assessment first year was great got a refund after that when hmrc realise they change your tax code swift don’t notify you on this so you end up stuck with a 72£ self assessment bill for absolutely no return it’s just a con to get money out of pepole i tried to cancel this multiple times only to be advised to keep it open but if your paying the correct tax anyway why wouldn’t they just close the claim pointless paying the £72 then

It seems there may have been some miscommunication regarding how your expenses were handled. As you mentioned, your expenses were included in your tax code, which means that you're benefiting by paying less tax throughout the year. This is one of the ways clients receive the financial relief they deserve (HMRC does include them on some occasions in the tax code after the first refund is received).

There’s also another option that our clients prefer: we can remove your expenses from your tax code, and you can claim them annually. This allows you to receive a refund at the end of each year. We offer this option as part of our completely free client aftercare service, as we always aim to cater to our clients’ preferences.

We completely understand your concerns regarding the annual fee, but rest assured, the £72 charge (which is competitively lower than many others in the industry) covers the benefit of paying less tax over the course of the year. As a fully registered agent with HMRC, we ensure that all of our processes are in line with legal requirements, and our goal is always to maximise the benefits our clients are entitled to.
