The ice compartment doesn't close…

The ice compartment doesn't close properly so it keeps icing up and leaking water into the fridge .I have to keep switching the fridge off, leaving it to defrost and then switching it on again. very frustrating!

Just to clarify, this model is a fridge with an ice box rather than a freezer, so the ice compartment is designed with a flap rather than a sealed freezer-style door. If it is icing up heavily, the temperature setting may be too low, so adjusting it slightly warmer may help reduce ice build-up and prevent water from leaking into the fridge.

Item arrived on time

Item arrived on time, given a time slot. Bought for a friend who is in a care home. It’s amazing the difference it has made to her. Ideal size and the quality of the fridge is excellent.

Rather disappointed by the mini cooler

Rather disappointed by the mini cooler, I have had it on now for 6 hours but it isn’t very cold at all. I bought it to put my cheese and small bottle of milk cool as my fridge is broken, but there is no room in it at all. There other products might be ok but I really don’t rate this at all.

Great Drinks Fridge

Delivered rapidly, this a great fridge for my man cave.

Holds 36x 150ml tonic cans on the top shelf, perfect for those of us who enjoy a Gin.

A good looking tall beer fridge!

A good experience, from ordering to delivery. Delivered when I wanted and placed in the room i wanted, a very nice looking fridge , it looks well made and substantial. Now the proof is in the pudding, but I have to say, as soon as it was turned on you could feel the chill !

I purchased the fridge for a bedroom…

I purchased the fridge for a bedroom based on it being quiet - however there is a popping noise whenever it stops rendering it unfit for use in a bedroom without additional soundproofing. Other than that, the fridge works well.

I had terrible customer service from…

I had terrible customer service from this company. I bought a second wine cooler from them as my first one broke due to it not working anymore it wasnt cooling at all. Bought a new one to replace it in September and it states the wine cooler is ‘ Fully Compliant and Includes Full 1-Year Warranty Period for Extra Peace of Mind!’ The cooler stopped working and cooling so as it’s under warranty still I contacted them and straight away they were saying it would have to be sent back to us and see if it’s under the warranty! When it states a full one year warranty everywhere. 8 months after purchase the wine cooler it shouldn’t have stopped working seeing as it was the second one to break. I said it must be a fault with them which they said they don’t have complaints about. Every email I sent was responded to basically saying it won’t be covered under warranty. So what is the point in having one then. I would avoid at all cost.

We would like to clarify that we have advised on several occasions that the unit can be returned to us for warranty assessment. As with all warranty claims, the product does need to be inspected first so we can confirm the fault and whether it falls within the warranty terms.

It is also important to note that this product is a wine cooler, designed specifically for storing wine within the intended temperature range. It is not designed or recommended for storing milk or other perishable dairy products, as this may affect performance and suitability for use.

We do appreciate your frustration, especially as this is your second purchase, and we have not refused to look into the matter. We remain happy to assess the unit under the warranty process if it is returned to us as advised.

Poor customer service support

Driver could not find me. Lived here for 31 years and address label is correct with contact number but no call . Sent back to Subcold and contacted asking them to send out as I am disabled And need for storage of meds during heat. They said can’t send out until courier brings back to warehouse. `DPD tracking shows clearly not delivered and returned to Subcold but won’t send out order .

As advised by email and live chat, a replacement could be arranged once the original parcel had been received back at our warehouse.

Next day delivery for my Super50 beer…

Next day delivery for my Super50 beer fridge. A quality product. The only improvement would be to make the metal shelves stronger as they sag under the weight of beer cans. Overall very pleased.

Great wee fridge

Great wee fridge. Just what I needed for my Tibico kefir drinks so my food fridge isn't blocked up. I can order in dozen packs now. Very pleased with delivery time and process.
