I haven’t noticed any improvement in my bookings since becoming a Top Pro. It’s been over a month with very few appointments, and I don’t believe my profile is being featured in the top results for new clients to find and book me.
Hello I have been using StyleSeat for a 10 years and it only gets better. I’m excited every week receiving new clients and reuniting with old one every week is awesome. I am always looking forward to using the app everyday it is very helpful when it come to running my Buisness.
Look this is app is cool but sometimes I have warm leads generated from social media or a referral and they will still charge me the “ new client fee “ saying they marketed me but relasitcly the client was already looking to book with me . That’s the main pet peeve with the app . And the new client free needs to be lowered

If I could give 0stars I would. Avoid booking with this App. This company doesn t support the consumer at all. This app allows, what they call “pro” to fraudulently list open availability to consumers to book open available time slots through their app. Styleseats host and provides a platform for people to get taken advantage of. They support professionals to take deposits, and not be availably to deliver time and service booked. I should have gotten my deposit back because the pro isn’t available at all, but still showed she had open hours available in her scheduling. It should be as simple to refund however that’s not the case dealing with an unethical business practices. Avoid honey stylezz llc in ohio.
I tried to book with stylist Nesha Dean a braider in Orlando. She took my deposit, moved the appt time failed to contact me saying she could keep my original time, then when I had a emergency she was not really willing to be accommodating even though I gave her plenty of options to reschedule l, then she gave me attitude when I asked for my deposit, argued.with.me.then cussed at me before disconnecting the call. Buyer beware! Her prices are good but the attitude, and lack of professionalism is NOT worth it! Im more upset about her attitude then the loss of $20. DO BETTER!
Extremely Disappointed – Be Cautious When Booking With Ebonie Day No Integrity!
I had a very disappointing experience with this stylist and feel compelled to warn others. As a first-time client, I followed the directions from the StyleSeat app exactly, which led me to the wrong MySuite salon location. I arrived early, buzzed as instructed, and waited patiently for nearly an hour, thinking the stylist was finishing with another client.
When I finally called, she informed me I was marked as a no-show and said she was about to leave. Even after I explained the mix-up and that I was simply at the wrong location due to unclear directions, she made no effort to work with me, refused to reschedule, and insisted I pay again in full.
Even worse, after our phone conversation, she charged a second $100 fee to another one of my cards, totaling $200 for a service I never received. She claimed she attempted a refund but that her system “wouldn’t allow it,” which felt highly unprofessional and dishonest. She also never tried to call me before labeling me a no-show.
This felt like a complete lack of integrity and customer care. New clients, be cautious: there’s no flexibility, no accountability, and clearly no empathy for honest mistakes. If you value your time and money, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
Also, I tried to place my review on StyleSeat account and under the Stylist Ebonie Day they blocked me from posing my Review so I found this Platform to post to try and warn others.
Wish I could give them ZERO stars! They scam the stylists! Recently they removed me because I wouldn’t upgrade. Why would I? I barely get clients through the platform and it’s because unless you’re paying for their “marketing they’ll hide you from potential clients. I’ve lost a LOT of money dealing with them . I'm on styleseat as a professional.. they steal so much money from me it's crazy.. I've sent emails on multiple different occasions, but they never get back to me i have a lot of clients that refer new client but styleseat always claim that the client was sent by them and I have to pay a new client fee every time... and also if I opt out of styleseat marketing they won't show my profile when clients search for barbers in my area even tho I'm one of the top barbers in my area it's ridiculous.
It was great when I started to rebrand by business in the beginning. The fees were acceptable and the booking was flawless for my clients. Now StyleSeat fees are ridiculous! They charge the clients fees that I didn’t know on top of the fees I already pay. Let’s not mention if you have a new client StyleSeat keep the tip!!!Also I got kicked out the whole plan this year because I didn’t want to upgrade. Why would I pay more money on top of the fees just to get the same clientele i already have? That’s insane! Also I don’t like you have to wait 24 hours to get a payout to avoid paying an additional fee for the money you brought in. I feel like over the past year StyleSeat has got really greedy which is sad because it started off a great app. I was with them for over 5 years and the difference in fees and booking rates are CRAZY!!! I do not recommend the NEW STYLESEAT!!!
This website is the worst. The stylists on it are scammers. The stylist I booked charged me a deposit, then rescheduled my appointment without asking me. I couldn't make the new appointment. When I went to the website to try and reschedule the new appointment, I couldn't even though it was more than 24 hrs before my appointment. Then, I couldn't even log into the website anymore. There was no way to communicate with anyone from customer service. Stay away from this website. They charge high fees; the stylists are the worse, and you will never get your money back if something goes wrong.
The Style seat platform appears to impose significantly higher costs on the customer. Stylists seemingly pass on all extra charges and additionally charge more than the advertised costs by removing deposits, yet still charging the advertised costs at checkout. This app does not exhibit customer-friendly characteristics by any means.
DO NOT GO TO QDoyja Styles at Extraordinary Hair Design!
I had the absolute worst experience at this salon, and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy! I booked an appointment with QDoyja two weeks in advance for feed-in braids, sent a picture of exactly what I wanted, and followed all instructions to book through her website. I even made sure to confirm because I had a vacation planned in two days. At NO POINT did she tell me she couldn't do the style—until I arrived at the salon!
Instead of being upfront from the beginning, she waited until I got there to tell me she couldn’t do it and tried to pass me off to another stylist, Lucie, which was already a huge red flag. But since I needed my hair done, I gave Lucie a chance and showed her the same picture. What happened next was beyond frustrating.
Lucie clearly had no idea what she was doing. Instead of braiding my hair into a ponytail with a swoop like the picture, she did one random, oversized braid from the side of my head up to the back—completely wrong. I tried to explain that this was NOT what I asked for, and instead of listening or fixing it, she decided to argue with me! The first part of the braid was tiny, and then she added half a bundle of hair into one giant braid at the back—completely unbalanced and ridiculous-looking.
When I told her I wasn’t paying for a style I didn’t ask for, I walked out of the salon with ONE braid in my head.
QDoyja was nice enough to apologize and refund my deposit—but she still took $5 from it. And honestly, the whole situation was shady from the start. If she had just been honest from the beginning, I could have booked with someone else instead of being left scrambling right before my trip.
To make matters worse, this salon is filthy. Extraordinary Hair Design is NOT well-kept—it looks like it hasn’t been properly cleaned or sanitized in ages. If they can’t even keep their salon clean, imagine how they handle your hair!
Lucie is hands down the worst braider I’ve ever encountered. She doesn’t listen, has no clue how to execute a basic braid style, and has the audacity to argue with clients instead of fixing her mistakes.
Save yourself the time, money, and frustration—DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give negative stars, I would. Avoid 8012 S Tacoma Way at all costs!

Recently I was changed from basic to premium without wanting that...contacted customer service and was told it's irreversible. Also, for about 3 months they were intentionally blocking my availability to where clients weren't able to book, which caused me about 7k in bookings; I contacted customer service AGAIN and the rep was very inexpensive and incompetent, she pretending not to know what I was talking about even when I emailed screenshots as proof....I'm just so sad that I'm being treated like this after being with them for over 10 years. I have email proof from this horrible situation

I had an issue with my stylist charging me full price for my appointment even though I paid a deposit. Long story short, I submitted all documentation to Styleseat and requested a refund. They helped me contact the stylist and she never responded to our e-mails (or iMessages on my end too). Customer service was patient, kind, and helpful. In the end, Styleseat issued me a full refund of my deposit.
