Stripe est une catastrophe pour les entrepreneurs ! J’ai ouvert un compte pour ma société après avoir passé toutes les vérifications avec succès. Quelques semaines plus tard, en octobre 2024, Stripe a bloqué mon compte sans raison valable et a retenu 8 000 € de mon entreprise.
➡️ 5 000 € ont été remboursés aux clients alors qu’ils avaient déjà été livrés !
➡️ 3 000 € sont toujours bloqués à ce jour et impossible de les récupérer.
Ils bloquent arbitrairement les comptes et s’accaparent l’argent des entrepreneurs en toute impunité.
🚨 Le plus honteux ? Leur bureau fantôme à Paris, où un unique employé, totalement impuissant, est chargé de faire semblant d’apaiser les plaintes des utilisateurs. Il n’a même pas accès aux comptes et se contente de répondre aux avis négatifs sur ce site pour éteindre le feu… pendant que Stripe continue de voler l’argent des entrepreneurs !

Stripe is a nightmare for entrepreneurs! I opened an account for my company after successfully passing all the verification steps. A few weeks later, in October 2024, Stripe blocked my account without any valid reason and withheld €8,000 from my business.
➡️ €5,000 was refunded to customers even though they had already received their orders!
➡️ €3,000 is still blocked to this day, and it is impossible to recover it.
They arbitrarily freeze accounts and seize entrepreneurs’ money with complete impunity.
🚨 The most shameful part? Their ghost office in Paris, where a single powerless employee is tasked with pretending to handle user complaints. He doesn’t even have access to the accounts and simply responds to negative reviews online to put out fires… all while Stripe continues to steal entrepreneurs’ money!
Never open an account with them—you risk losing all your money for no reason! 🚨
Stay away from this company and choose a reliable alternative before it’s too late!

WORST COMPANY EVER
I used Stripe for over a year without a single chargeback or complaint, yet they suddenly shut down my account claiming my business was an “unacceptable level of risk.” No further clarification, no proof—just vague references to their internal processes.
On top of that, their customer service is downright disappointing. Any request for clarification on why they deemed the account “high risk” was met with little more than canned responses. This lack of professionalism and respect for their customers is unacceptable.
Conclusion:
If you value transparency, reliability, and genuine support, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Stripe markets itself as a modern and flexible payment processor, but when it counts, they’ll leave you in the dark and shut you down without giving you a fair or sensible explanation.

Stripe has been a nightmare for my business. They froze my funds with vague claims of 'unauthorized payments' and provided no evidence to back it up. I've sent over 20 emails in two weeks, and all I got was a single response saying they’ll keep the money indefinitely, with no option to appeal. Since then, they’ve ignored every email I’ve sent.
This has left both my business and my customers in limbo. Stripe won’t release the funds or refund the customers—it’s completely unacceptable. Their customer support is non-existent, and their handling of this situation has been the worst I’ve ever experienced. Beware of using Stripe for your business!

I would highly NOT recommend Stripe to anyone. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. They are currently holding my payments and refusing to refund them without providing any valid reason. It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with a company that shows no values, no care for their customers, and no understanding of the impact their actions have on businesses. Has anyone else had a similar experience with Stripe?

Stripe Customer Service & Complaints Are Appalling
Several of my customers received Stripe invoices and were charged over the Christmas holiday period. The invoices say that our company charged them, but this is not the case. I have been emailing Stripe support for over a week and still have no clarity on what's going on, yet they have blocked our Stripe account so that we can't see who has been charged and to refund them. In my last contact, I could see that the Stripe customer service person had generated a response using ChatGPT! So not only has our Stripe account been compromised, Stripe employees are compromising our company by putting our details into AI! I have additionally emailed their complaints service, who also don't have a clue! They sent us to Eventbrite, but this is nothing to do with Eventbrite who have confirmed that no charges were made from Eventbrite on the dates or to the customers concerned.

Tot toe toe heb ik geen enkel artikel ontvangen en geen bericht van Stripe ontvangen. Dringend verzoek het bedrag ad. € 29.95 binnen 2 weken terug te storten op mijn bankrekening waar genoemd bedrag ook van is afgeschreven. Als u niet voldoet aan de terugbetaling binnen gesteld termijn zal ik genoodzaakt zijn jurische stappen te ondernemen.
Al met al een zeer onplezierige ervaring met uw bedrijf Stripe. Het voelt als oplichting.

I wish I could give a zero. They closed my account after testing the gateway! I know hilarious right? I am a jewelry brand, doing everything legal, nothing wrong or high risk even items price around 300$. I asked my sister in germany to test the payment and after she bought something from my website they closed the account the same second, like the order confirmation and account closure emails came at the same second. Maybe they were waiting for the first purchase to collect some money for free. They said my payout will be available after 30 years or something hahahaha I feel stupid for falling for them after reading reviews here and thought maybe these guys are doing something wrong or they sell prohibited goods but no I was in the wrong for trusting stripe. Stripe are committing FRAUD! People we need to boycott this company, lets get together and take them down. Check out this message to the Stripe team. They are preventing me from refunded orders that I have reported to them that are not going to be shipped.
I am writing to formally notify you that I have begun the process of legal action and have retained a lawyer to handle this matter. Your actions in freezing our account and withholding funds that should be refunded to customers have caused significant harm to my business, and I consider this to be fraudulent behavior on Stripe’s part.
In my previous communications, I have made it clear that there are orders I will not be shipping due to the issues caused by Stripe’s account freeze. Despite this, Stripe continues to hold funds that should rightfully be refunded to those customers. I am asking directly: Why can we not simply refund those orders now?
It is unacceptable for Stripe to hold funds that belong to customers, and this delay is damaging both my business and my relationship with my customers. These funds should be returned to the customers without further delay, as withholding them serves no purpose other than to escalate the situation.
I expect a prompt response and immediate action on this matter. If this situation is not resolved swiftly, I will be proceeding with legal action to recover the funds and damages caused by this dispute.
