In October 2003, Stewart Golf launched the X1 Remote. The world's first electric golf caddie developed specifically for remote control use.

I ordered the refurbished Q Follow Black Carbon model with the 36 hole capacity battery. The unit arrived in perfect condition. I was able to successfully practice with the unit in my backyard (drawing the positive attention of several neighbors). I've now had a chance to use it on the course. What a pleasure! Especially in the follow mode. I played with 3 strangers that round. All were curious, then envious. It folds down beautifully into a very compact unit that fits like a glove in the trunk of my Audi TT. Just another sign that it was the perfect choice for me.

I played yesterday and instantly noticed the right rear wheel is warped and wobbles. The cart continuously tracks left.
This is also the third cart I have received that fails in the follow feature. Within the first three holes the cart completely stopped after following (6x), passed by me (3x), ran up and hit my heels (2x) and just slowed down completely to where it was 50' behind me once. I stopped using the follow feature and went to manual mode.
The concept is great and maybe I’m that one in a million customer that received three malfunctioning, brand new carts.
For $3000, I was hoping for a product that performed as promised. I know it won’t make my score any lower, but I wanted to enjoy walking the course again.
The reason for the two stars is because of the customer service received throughout this ordeal. They have been very helpful in trying to get me a trolley that works.

**Update 1/25: Stewart responded admirably to my concerns and provided service to update the parts that had failed. True test of an organization/product is how they respond when there's an issue, and Stewart has stepped up. I stand by my concerns about the durability of carbon fiber construction, but if you want the aesthetic and the other premier features the Q offers, is a good choice... just be gentle with it and be prepared to replace parts now and then.... also save the shipping materials!**
3 years of normal use and Q follow is on 3rd upper assembly, second set of wheels all around, second balance wheel assembly (which is broken and needs third) and has severe cracks in chassis. Battery light no longer works and remote won’t charge (I have to unscrew and swap batteries). Beautiful aesthetic, but carbon fiber is just not durable.

The cart is remarkable. I have more people observing its capability and wanted to know where I found it. I have used it over 35 rounds this year with no glitches. My 36 hole battery could easily do 54 holes.

I paid for priority shipping but on the day the shipment was to arrive, I received a message from you that the shipment would be delayed another three days. This is the time frame expected if I didn't pay for priority shipping.

I've been trying to solve an issue with my remote not working and have reached out to Stewart Gollf USA by phone, email and via website chat. Absolutely no response. Their customber service is non existant. My Q Follow was purchased on May of 2023 and is still under warranty. I paid $2,899 for this product - STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

After receiving the product, I found out that the remote control was not charging. And, I contacted Stewart USA and Stewart UK more than 10 times by email and phone over a week, but the phone was not answered, the email was not answered, and the customer service chat was not answered either. I do not understand their system at all.
