Sterling, make it easy
Every time I use Sterling, I'm always surprised how easy it is. I transfer money abroad and get holiday money delivered to my home address, and every time without a hitch. Their website is straight forward and easy to use, they have always been clear with their communication and they tell you what they are going to do and when, very simple and it has worked for the last 6 years, that's how long I've been using them. Well done all.

Non Existent customer service
Non Existent customer service. I bought currency and used them as I needed it in a hurry, even tho I could have gotten a better price elsewhere, they only offered RM Special Delivery - before 1pm. It was due to get to me before 1pm Wednesday, it eventually arrived at 4pm on Thursday. I had to wait at home for 2 days and just got the currency in time. I contacted them and asked them to refund the delivery, they refused and cited their Ts & Cs, even tho they can get a full refund from RM due to it not being delivered on time. So its a win win for them, and piss poor service for their (ex) customer... I think you need to take some lessons on how to look after and retain customers... Terrible Company

Short changed
Ordered currency for my holiday and when it arrived I had been short changed. Based on the denominations it looks like a genuine mistake where a 10 bill had been sent instead of a 50 bill. Contacted customer service the day that the order arrived, had a response a few days later asking for confirmation of how many bills I received and sent me a form that I have to print off and fill in. As I have no access to a printer I replied asking if there's a digital form to fill in (seeing as we do live in the 21st century). That was 3 days ago and still not had any response. Instead I've had emails asking me to rate them and refer a friend. At this rate I won't be receiving the missing currency in time for my holiday which makes the whole thing pointless and since I'm missing part of the currency they also turned out more expensive than competitors after all.

The payment of euros was late with no apology or explanation
The payment for the euros went through my bank account on a Saturday and the promise was that the euros would be credited to my sister's account in France on the Tuesday but this did not happen so I was very worried. On querying this I was told the euros had not been paid for so the contract was cancelled. After a number of emails the payment was eventually made on the Wednesday but with no apology or explanation.
