Stansted Flight Simulator Bewertungen

Jon was full of knowledge and warmth. Learnt plenty and had a great time.

Jonathan was very personable and knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. This was a great experience and for someone who is studying for a private pilots license, he adapted the session so I got the best information and great fun on top! I really enjoyed and would recommend this experience.

I recently completed a flight simulation session at Stansted Flight Simulation with Jonathan, an ex-commercial pilot, and the experience was truly out of this world.

From the moment I arrived, the professionalism and attention to detail set the tone. The simulation setup is exceptional—high-fidelity cockpits, motion-capable platforms, and immersive, wraparound visuals that genuinely replicate the feel of real flight. Jonathan’s background as an airline pilot shines through in every aspect of the session.

What stood out was the
realism and technical depth: The cockpit layouts, flight management system (FMS), instrument panels, and aircraft systems are modeled with impressive accuracy.
You can practice precise procedures, from pre-flight checks to engine start, taxi, takeoff, climbs, approaches, and landings, with a strong emphasis on realism.

Jonathan’s experience as a former commercial pilot translates into practical, real-world guidance. He explains procedures clearly, answers questions with depth, and shares insights into decision-making, efficiency, and safety that you don’t get from a generic simulator experience.

So, if you’re seeking a professional, immersive, and highly educational flight simulation experience, Stansted Flight Simulation with Jonathan is a standout choice.

It truly lives up to its promise and delivers an experience that’s as close to the real thing as you can get without leaving the ground. Highly recommended.

An amazing experience. I would recommend it to anyone. He was very detailed and explained everything in the cockpit. It was worth the money. This wasn't the first time for me, nothing to compare with the other flight sims, a real x-pilot.

Found out about Stansted Flight Simulator through social media and purchased a voucher for my partners Christmas gift. We both really enjoyed our flight experience on the day. Johnathan was welcoming, friendly and knowable. We both learnt lots. The experience was better than expected with a thorough briefing before take off. The graphics were cool, and despite being a non moving simulator it definitely tricks your brain at times!

Ethan, our ten year old, loved his second flight with Jonathan. This time to Jersey.
Easy to book, easy to find the location due to good communication and Jonathan was so good / patient with Ethan. We will no doubt be back again soon. Thank you

Expert & informative instruction.
Lots of technical explanation of the hundreds of controls, maybe at the expense of more actual piloting.

Absolutely great flying experience.

We had an incredible experience today at Stansted Flight Simulator with our 10-year-old son, it far exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, Johnathan was outstanding: friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about aviation. He started early and went above and beyond by finishing late, making sure our son had the most immersive and enjoyable time possible.

The simulator itself was top-notch, realistic, exciting, and educational. Our son was completely captivated throughout and hasn’t stopped talking about it since! It’s rare to find something that blends fun and learning so seamlessly, and this did just that.

A huge thank you to Johnathan for making it such a memorable day. Highly recommended for kids (and adults!) who love flying or just want a unique and unforgettable experience. We’ll definitely be returning!

What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Jonathan is extremely welcoming and a lovely guy!

The simulator experience is incredible - from the cockpit, the screens to the weather!

Everything really was great and we ended up going over time a little due to bad weather and we had to make a detour!

Whilst my wife bought this experience as a gift for me, it was wonderful they she could also be at the back of the cockpit in the ‘jump’ seat to enjoy the experience too!

Absolutely Fantastic Flight Simulation Experience!

I booked this flight simulation as a surprise for my sister who’s obsessed with aviation, and it exceeded every expectation. I had originally booked somewhere else who unfortunately let us down last minute, but in the end I’m glad that they cancelled and we were able to come here instead! It truly was a professional and immersive setup. The simulator was custom-built by the host and his son several years ago, and their passion shows in every detail.

Our host, a former pilot, was knowledgeable, welcoming and incredibly kind. He took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. His love for aviation is infectious, and he made the entire experience both educational and exciting.

We felt completely at ease from the moment we arrived. My sister had a wonderful time and so did I; despite not loving aviation anywhere as much as she does! This was more than just a simulation; it was an educational, fun and joyful experience. I would 100% recommend this to anyone, whether you’re a flight enthusiast or simply looking for a unique and memorable activity.

Five stars without hesitation :)

A fun two hour simulator session expertly led by experienced pilot Jonathan - thoroughly recommended!

Jonathan is a very accommodating person as I was having some health issues ie my elbow and shoulder blade and he allowed me right up to the morning of my booking to be able to cancel.

I am so very thankful that I did attend as he was very pleasant and understanding of my situation. He talked me through all the procedures, what a great experience I had that day.

I would highly recommend anyone of all ages to try this.

Jonathan explained everything so well. The instructions were very clear and simple as-well. I had a great time flying the simulator and will come back soon!

The unique experience of ‘flying’ a Boeing 737 with a qualified pilot was excellent!

Jonathan’s guidance and patience, ensured I assimilated as much of a ‘real’ flight as possible. Thus a safe landing at Manchester was achieved.

I would highly recommend this flight simulator experience.

We had Jonathan as an Instructor on the day and he was excellent . He accommodated us at last minute as another company let us down. Jonathan was friendly and very polite and welcoming. Jonathan is very knowledgeable and passionate about aviation. He was not clock watching and we in fact went over the 1hr purchased. I would say 1hr is more than sufficient . Its an impressive set up by father and son. Dont be put off by the residential location.

I've no previous experience of flying but I really enjoyed my visit to SFS. The cockpit controls were very well explained, and then I was let loose on the flight to Manchester. Some of it was hands on flying, and some of it was making use of the autopilot. Seeing all the modern day flying aids and cockpit controls was fascinating, and the time seemed to fly by. I was very impressed by the simulator, and completely forgot I was on the ground. Jonathon was excellent at teaching me what I needed to know, and made the visit a pleasure. I'd recommend it to anyone who flies anywhere and wants to know what they do up at the front end.

Excellent pilot who made the whole experience enjoyable and realistic. The cabin and simulator are really impressive and I've never known two hours go by so quickly. Highly recommend.

Great experience overall, Jonathan was very good at explaining everything and would thoroughly recommend this business to anyone who is interested in aviation 👍

I was quite anxious about attending, as I am quite a nervous person and suffer from a few health conditions that made it possible I had to cancel at short notice. Jonathan was very understanding of this over email.

In person, Jonathan was funny, understanding, and very easy to get along with. The simulator itself was fun, and Jonathan had set it up for my preference of flying from Manchester to Stansted Airport. Thankfully, I had great weather on the day which was replicated in the simulator.

I was able to complete the flight, and especially enjoyed the second half where I was able to get a lot more involved with the control switches.

I really enjoyed this experience.
