Do not keep their word
Had a fella come round from Stanleys to give a quote on a small paving job. Quote was acceptable and then he stated that he could not give me a start date for a couple of weeks. This would have been in the week from Monday 18th July.
I waited until Tuesday 16th Aug and still no call so rang them and cancelled. Found someone else who came round same day to give a quote and by the 18th Aug the job was completed.
