I required advice from one of the designers at Stair Parts Direct and Andy was a great help in guiding me through the options and full process over a couple of phone calls and emails. There was no rush which helped to clarify my requirements, and he was enthusiastic and clearly very knowledgable about his trade.
I’ve now ordered some initial parts to start my project so hoping delivery and products match my experience thus far.

Received my order in only 3 days. Well packed, just what I wanted and easy to fit. Just a pity they didn’t stock the Burbidge handrail end caps so had to order elsewhere.

I ordered spindles and mountings from stairparts direct, the items arrived very quickly and as advertised. Unfortunately due to the courier one of the spindles was damaged. This was immediately resolved by stairpartsdirect and a replacement sent.

Would not recommend, stair handrail they sent out is warped but as I didn't notice within 48 hours of receipt they are washing their hands of responsibility. Also took over two weeks to receive following order. Poor.

Orders placed on our free delivery service are usually dispatched from our factory within 5-7 working days. Despite your order being placed during the Easter bank holiday period, the time from order to dispatch was 6 working days.
We ask our customers to check orders on receipt so that we can rectify any issues that may occur as quickly as possible. If left for longer, we cannot be sure that damage has not occurred on site or due to atmospheric conditions and manner of storage. We are happy to assist customers over the phone or we can be contacted by email at any time. We also have a section on our website dedicated to frequently asked questions, which includes one on the number of brackets suggested when fitting a wall mounted handrail. This would assist in making sure that the handrail is fitted safely and securely.
We provided our thoughts to you, as requested, when you contacted us, however after a month has elapsed since delivery occurred, and as the rail has already been fitted, we are extremely limited in how we can help.

I ordered the wrong base rails and they cancelled them straight away and sorted everything out. Really helpful team of people.
