She was extremely helpful in dealing with the claim, phoning me back exactly when she said she would. The process allowed me to liaise with both the garage and Spectrum with success. I would definitely recommend Spectrum, mainly due to the fantastic customer service I received from Emily.

I haven’t had a car insurance warranty before now so was a bit unsure what the policy does and doesn’t cover. Having made the call today for advice on a fault on my vehicle I spoke with a lovely advisor Emily who looked at my policy and explained everything to me, where to book my vehicle in and the contact numbers I needed. I would highly recommend taking out an extended warranty as it was effortless. No call centres and could speak with an advisor straight away. Most helpful. Great service.
Superb service.
I just want to say how grateful I am to the spectrum insurance team, especially, Jamie (who originally helped start my claim) and then Emily, who took over the claim moving forward and dealt with it to get it resolved.
Even with the call back service, it was prompt and quick and Emily especially made sure I was up to date with the progress and made sure it moved forward quickly with constant daily updates. When I couldn't answer a call she would leave a message to say she would try again and then she did.
I also explained that I am neurodivergent, and both Jamie and Emily took the time to dive deeper into info and explanations too.
I cannot recommend these people enough and how much support was offered and how they went above and beyond to help me, especially with my personal situations going on too.
I plan to try and stay with Spectrum because it was 5star service.

Avoid Spectrum
Motorpoint suggested I took out this expensive insurance. What a rip off. It cost £699, and you only got a refund in the first month. Well unless you use them in the first month you are not going to know how utterly appalling they are. I have called them 18 times in a week, and only got an answer once. I have left so many messages, and get nothing back. They seem to work on the premise that if they don't speak to you they will never have to pay for anything. How can you try and make a claim when they simply do not answer the phone, or call you back? They make it impossible to follow their time lines as they never answer the phone to allow you to progress a claim in time. Seriously, avoid Spectrum.

There was a lot of back and forth between the garage and Spectrum, but Emily managed to speak to the garage directly and get things sorted and authorise the work could go ahead, so I will get reimbursed ☺️

I’ve used spectrum through Motorpoint
I’ve used spectrum through Motorpoint, which is their 3rd part warranty company, I’ve had a AC compressor & my timing chain covered under warranty, £3100 in repairs and every time it’s been literally a phone call, presented evidence & invoice and boom approved on the same call, no dragged out issues, straight forward as can be, Mrs Emily has been dealing with me and has been absolutely fantastic, I’m super glad I bought Motorpoint a 4 year warranty, Spectrum has been amazing so far

I took out a spectrum policy about a year ago and I was experiencing a automatic transmission failure I spoke to a person called Emily who was amazing in customer service who then spoke to a person at brittanic to arrange collection of my car from another one of there garages . The whole process moved very quickly. Claim successful with just a £50.00 excess & car fixed 👌
