Easy to understand and a mine of useful information

This seems to be an independent site giving hard won experience of the solar market place. I asked for 4 quotes and got 3. I am going with a local firm that came recommended but more importantly came to see the house roof and gave advice. This Site has plenty of really useful advice to the uninitiated.

I wanted to explore the options for solar power at home, but was reluctant due to my lack of knowledge and the fear of companies pressure selling. Solar Sherpa took that away through sound advice and explanations of what is available. All in everyday language and no jargon. They then recommended three companies to quote for an installation. I spoke to all three companies and all were a pleasure to speak to and gave me various options for my requirements. I went with one of the recommended companies (Infinity Renewables) and had a very positive experience. My only wish is that I'd done it sooner! Thank you Solar Sherpa for great help and guidance from your knowledgeable team.

Using Solar Sherpa has helped my understanding of the solar landscape. I still haven’t decided on my chosen supplier or system with another quote to come, but I think I’m much better placed to choose now.

Hard to give a star rating as much depends on the companies that they pass your details to. So far only one company has attempted contact via email. Have emailed them back and have tried ringing them back but there is no answer machine facility so the number just rings endlessly with no reply.

Their clear analysis of the issues and possible solutions is very useful to anyone considering a solar solution.

Pretty rubbish really. The website is full of all the usual marketing and all they do is take your details and pass them onto some random suppliers the other side of the country hoping to get a referral fee.

Whilst we have yet to have the system installed, two of the installers Solar Sherpa referred us to proved to be very helpful and offered detailed quotes which were both similar and a lot more competitive than the companies we had heard from previously. Neither of these quotes offered 'special discounts' if we signed up immediately (which we had encountered elsewhere) and both gave us a good opportunity to ask questions and tailor the design to suit our needs before we committed any expenditure.
We're looking forward to getting our system installed and working in just a few weeks!

Very useful email guides and vetted local suppliers. I went with one of the local suppliers and am very pleased with the service. Home visits, no pressure selling just good advice. Better experience than the big energy providers in my opinion.

I hit upon this company quite by chance and was glad that I did. Their initial introduction aligned with my own thoughts so I thought I would see what they had to offer. I researched the contractors they suggested and obtained quotes from them. I also got quotes from other contractors I had researched. In the end I did go with one of the contractors recommended by Solar Sherpa (SS). Throughout the quoting process there were daily emails from SS on different aspects to consider in making a decision. These aligned with my own thoughts and gave confidence in the decision process. Once an order was placed, SS followed up with info on appropriate Tarrifs. Give them a go alongside your own contractor research.

Helpful guide and insights when looking into a solar installation. Connected me to 3 local installers for quotation one of which i selected to install my solar. Currently awaiting installation.

Great advice on loads of different solar subjects

Very informative & refreshing to be provided with quality information without the inevitable catch… only observation was that in our case, I could have used the daily insight updates to be available all together as we needed to make a decision within the week and the industry is a minefield…

I did not know much about solar when I began searching and Solar Sherpa helped fast track my education which helped me understand what system would be best for our needs.

Decided to go for solar and looking for advice came across solar Sherpa. Initially I followed there advice and once I was confident enough to make my own decisions I choose a company I decided I liked and placed an order. I would highly recommend using solar Sherpa to anyone going solar.

The guys have proved solid in providing accurate and informative information as a total novice might have been a sales persons dream. The knowledge I got from them assisted me to make and informed choice and the 3 companies they suggested to get quotes from 2 were brilliant it was not an easy choice but now confident I made the right choice and installation date comfirmed

Just wanted impartial advice on solar systems. Had to give personal info to get that advice which I was hesitant but wanted the feedback they could offer and they say we dont sell solar just advise.But my personal data must have been shared/sold to a number of solar installers/companies and Ive been bombarded with phone calls and emails ever since!
