I ordered and paid in full for two sofas in November 2025. It’s June 2026 and my Sofas are nowhere to be seen. Zero out of ten for customer service. Have called 6 times and emailed repeatedly and all they say is it will be then end of Feb then the end of March then the end of April then the end of May. Guess what they said when I last called… it will be the end of June. They won’t let me speak to a manager when I ring. I asked for a total refund and was told that only head office can offer a refund. No answer at head office. Cowboys!

Worst company I have ever dealt with, no after sales team, delivered a couch with broken foot missing buttons whole in material waited over 4 months for new one that still wasn’t wat we had arranged on phone, can’t make contact as they don’t answer phone in the shop or head office, it goes to answer phone for a Tesco mobile number as all the lines all full with other complaints , 6 months diwn line still have couch with wrong feet! Stay clear of this unprofessional company spend money with a reputable shop,

When I was ready he took a lot of time and patience as I was after made to measure furniture and I explained it might be a couple of weeks before my money comes through and I would need to check measurements he still took the time with me and can’t wait to see him again to place my order 😃

Was promised a new one by the store manager ( Phil) after many phone calls with Phil and citizens advice it then went to having someone to come to my home to repair it, still nothing 😡

If there is ANY review to listen to, please let it be this. Honestly, AVOID this cowboy company!!!! The sofa that arrived was not the sofa we paid for, had stitching issues, was poor quality and obvious alignment defects. What followed was one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever dealt with.
My partner first contacted the company on 27/04 the day the sofa was delivered to explain that the sofa alignment was wrong and that we had been supplied with flat, hard cushions instead of the upgraded domed cushions we specifically ordered. A member of staff admitted over the phone that the delivery team had assembled the sofa incorrectly and instructed us to dismantle and reconfigure it ourselves. She also acknowledged the wrong cushions had been supplied and asked us to get back in touch afterwards.
We followed those instructions and attempted to correct the alignment ourselves, however, there were still clear alignment issues and the cushions remained completely wrong. Since then, we repeatedly called, left voicemails and sent emails, which were all ignored. The silence and lack of communication was disgraceful and completely unprofessional.
After sending a email to make a formal complaint, they responded within the same day and arranged a collection of the cushions. When the collection team came to collect the cushions, they themselves inspected the sofa and confirmed the alignment was incorrect. I raised this via email to customer service and later became aware that internal comments had been posted in their WhatsApp group staff to “never agree with the customer.” Such an appalling way to treat paying customers and shows a complete lack of accountability. In this case, the defects were obvious and acknowledged by multiple members of staff.
When the cushions were returned after being “re-stuffed,” the workmanship was shockingly poor. The cushions looked significantly worse than before. They were uneven, misshapen and cheaply finished. Both me and the collection team immediately noticed how bad they looked, and even the staff commented on the poor result and said they would escalate it internally.
The sofa itself was clearly not manufactured correctly and the collection team were provided new screws to fix the alignment. However, the collection team confirmed that changing screws and hooks would not fix the issue because the entire sofa was fundamentally out of alignment. Four separate members of staff inspected the sofa and all acknowledged that it was not correct. We also repeatedly provided photographs proving the defects and showing that the sofa did not match the advertised design or the product we agreed to purchase. We specifically ordered cushioned arms, which were never supplied.
The technician/manufacturer who eventually attended was dismissive and took no responsibility whatsoever for the shoddy workmanship. He brushed off the alignment and stitching issues by saying they could be “fixed in five minutes,” despite the obvious defects. He then admitted the design was wrong and was the wrong doing of the salesperson and that we should receive a full refund. During this visit, he repeatedly tried to persuade us to buy a brand-new sofa directly from him “off the record” at half price if we kept it “hush hush.” This was unbelievably unprofessional and deeply concerning behaviour.
Even during the initial purchase process at the Middlebrook store, there were warning signs. Imran, the store manager, was incredibly rude and aggressive towards a sales assistant directly in front of us. He was snapping at him and shouting to the point where I felt compelled to ask the salesperson afterwards if he was okay. I was genuinely disgusted by the way he was spoken to. Looking back now, that behaviour should have told us everything we needed to know about how this company operates.
At this point, the entire experience felt dishonest, disorganised and completely unacceptable. The only reason we finally received a refund was because the manufacturer himself admitted the sofa was wrong after weeks of emails and calls.
Please avoid this company. The positive reviews are obviously completely manufactured and the negative reviews are clearly the ones people should pay attention to. Looking back, I regret ignoring my gut feeling when researching the company before purchase. Ironically, even the salesperson in the showroom advised us to pay by credit card “in case anything goes wrong so you can claim it back.” That should have been the warning sign we listened to.

I urge you to check the reviews for people who actually order a sofa not just visit the store.
Yes of course the staff are great in store, that’s their job they are sales people. Yes the sofas are lovely in the showroom, that’s the point it’s a showroom. Wait til you place and order…then wait and wait and wait and wait. I guarantee it won’t come when they say it will, expect to double the length of time they quote. Then don’t hold your breath that the sofa you order if the one that arrives. Think wrong size, wrong configuration, no feet. Oh and if they blag you into paying for upgraded filling - ensure to check that’s what you actually receive.
Then if you expect any kind of effective customer service after delivery you will be sorely disappointed. Calls and emails are basically ignored. If you actually ever manage to speak to anyone you either are dismissed or you will get all manner of promises from the likes of “Jimmy” but don’t hold your breath that any will be fulfilled.
Yes the sofas look nice but you are on a wing and a prayer that you will get what you pay for and a hiding to nothing trying to sort it if you don’t.
Speaks volumes that you can’t find an official website with any contact details on it don’t you think!?!
And as for all the glowing reviews…have a proper read and see what people who actually order a sofa think, especially those who have a problem with what is delivered!

I bought sofas from sofa superstore in January, I was made aware that only half of my purchase order was available at that time and the rest would be delivered at a later date , fine , but numerous phone calls to the store and many visits followed by promises of delivery, I am STILL waiting for the remainder of my order 5 months after I purchased my sofas I was promised again that today would be my delivery date which was followed by a phone call to say it wouldn't be arriving, this is a very amateur company who will fob you off to get you out of the store , my advice give a wide berth
