Smoothwall has been a huge disappointment. The setup process is overly complicated and the performance is mediocre at best. It blocks too many harmless websites, making it difficult to get any work done. The support is practically non-existent, leaving you to figure out problems on your own. Overall, it’s more of a hindrance than a help.

i went to search up fireball bourbon then blocked me so i exploded my compuer and did a rolly polly on it and violently gooned all over the smoothwall screen

Smooth wall is a horrible website that should not be allowed and I'm not just saying this because I'm a random kid who wants to play video games but no smooth wall is just awful and full of sad single 30 year old men who just want children to suffer i.e smooth wall block useful websites and normal websites for no reason. this has made it virtually impossible to do school work and puts a lot more stress on pupils and this has made a lot of my friends depressed and unhappy with life so I hope smooth wall are happy with making poor young children depressed

I go to a school that has Smoothwall installed. Smoothwall blocks some content that shouldn't be blocked, such as Youtube. It FORCES Restricted Mode on, and removes all core features of Youtube (comments, recommended videos, hell maybe even the description). Then they block Steam, Discord, Epic Games which I can see why but here's the thing. Smoothwall is easy to bypass: Turn the internet off, launch Edge/Chrome/whatever and turn it back on. Then for example type in roblox.com or discord.com and if it isn't blocked, wait a couple of seconds. If the page refreshes and it is blocked, try again. If it isn't blocked, then you now have access to the internet again. Atleast I think so. Anyway to finish this review this extension is a piece of crap and should not be installed.

Smoothwall, everyone hates u ok so go and delete yourself. One day I was at school and we had free time . There was no Internet and the dinosaur game popped up(Dino has to jump over cactuses).But NOOOOO smoothwall blocked it and me,my friends and the staff were furious.I HATE U!!!!!!!!

"Smooth" wall more like "Fuckall" wall, if you want a nice way to do nothing but everlasting boredom, then get it, this has caused mental distress in my family. Its just so bad and pointless. Greatest thing that has come to my life was when I finally got rid of it, even tho it really doesn't want you to, its program is very incessant that I shouldn't get rid of it, I feel bad for the people who made the company, cause they had a good concept but ended up pushing out this crap. When I had this crappy thing implemented into my PC, it wouldn't even let me access websites I needed for work/or school.
I have a story of a mate, who lost his job because he couldn't access a website because of Smooth wall.
I wouldn't recommend this if my life depended on it.

I watched in vain as my friend recieved the blue screen of smoothwall causing him to fail his A level in modern social media as the search term poo poo ahh quandale dingle bingleton skibidi toilet kai cenat rizzing up livvy dunn before he jumped off a cliff. I remeber watching on as i yelled his name, desperate for him to come back.

Someone I used (used underlined) to know called Vladimir Pupin and his family depended on accessing a online game where you win actual money for doing well, and when the money grabbers at Smoothwall decided to implement their useless piece of s*** on our school him and his family had to go to work in the mines because their only source of income was gone. I never saw them again and heard they died in a mining accident where other smoothwall victims were put.

this is absoulute rubbish
i was genuinely trying to research nazi germany for a history assignment and any time i used the word n*zi in a search it was blocked. Also, my browser runs 80% slower after this fricking extension was put on our school laptops. as someone with additional needs who uses a laptop for everything, this only makes school harder for me.0/10
