Be aware of problems
the person who came out to my house did not measure correctly. Got wrong size 1st time. Second time they got it right. Product beads broke apart within months. I did contact you. Still waiting for the connector for the beads. I was told I could not use the blinds until I got the connectors. Still waiting for them. NEVER RECEIVED CONNECTORS it’s been over a month. You should be ashamed over lack of communications to your customers. Again you never sent connectors and it’s been months. I will never do business with you again.

Always dependable in quality and service. I have been purchasing cellular shades for 10 plus years and have never been disappointed.

Great shades - Poor instructions, Insufficient hardware supplied
The shades are great as others ordered have been in the past. I am unable to hang them, though, because some of the hardware was not included. 2 contradicting instructions came with the product and neither seem to fit with the actual shades, so I am unsure how I can install them. Instructions online are inadequate as well. This has not happened in the past.

Unpleasant experience - overpriced product/service
Thanks so much for offering me the opportunity to provide feedback. I’ve taken some time to think about this after working with another company after my unpleasant experience with Smith & Noble. Your rep showed up to measure my windows - I had something in mind that matched some of the current blinds in my house. The blinds that are in my house (that were installed when I purchased) are Hunter Douglas - I like the style of the blinds and have installed them in another home that I used to live in. The best word I could use to describe the designers attitude was snobby. I may have not understood what the budget might be for my project, that I could have been flexible about. What I have no place for is her telling me her feelings about the things I currently have in my house - she told me that she didn’t like the blinds (that I wasn’t asking for feedback on) and that she had just torn them out of her house. Another room had wooden shades (I didn’t ask for her feedback) she told me that the size was out of fashion. I don’t know if this was an up sell tactic to get me to replace more things - but it definitely didn’t work. She seemed really committed to a specific type of blind - that she also recently installed in her grandchild’s bedroom - not what I was looking for or interested in. It also felt like a real hard sell - I got the impression that she also expected me to review the options and make a decision while she was still in the home. I told her that wasn’t going to happen & she gave me some attitude.She forgot her tablet so sent me quotes later in the day that included several different styles (and price points) which I appreciated. The prices arrived & they are far greater than other places I reached out to for the same products. They also didn’t include installation costs which was ridiculous. I was able to go to another vendor who actually listened to me & was able to provide with what I needed for a reasonable price ( a little more than my original budget - even including installation). This was an unfortunate experience. While it may not be a reflection of S&N broadly, it drove me to a different vendor and a much more pleasant experience. I cannot recommend your products or services as a result.
You can use predrilled holes and…
You can use predrilled holes and grommets on flat Roman shades that cost $1000 each rather than slitting holes in the top of them and thinking scotch tape is going to stop fraying. Shoddy.

I liked the samples but did not receive the one I liked best, darn it. Now I’m not sure.otherwise, seems like a nice quality product!

We’ve ordered blinds many times in the past and have always been happy with the quality. This time 2 of the 10 blinds weren’t correct. Our representative Denise was wonderfully helpful and I really appreciated only working with one person through the whole process. The correct blinds arrived ahead of schedule and they are perfect.

Fast efficient installation. He did leave a bit of a mess - wood shavings from the drill, empty boxes from the shades etc
A bit of Sunshine to Brighten My Day
Sunshine was able to help me with one additional solar fabric sample we were missing for our new home. She also kindly offered to help us with the mounting and difficult measurements for a patio door. Excellent service!

Never received my samples. Also asked for design help and never got any communication for anyone

I appreciate getting all the samples and will call Smith and Noble when it’s time to take measurements and order.
This is not our first time buying from S&N.
This is not our first time buying from S&N. Great products, helpful employees who will guide a buyer through many choices. After selections are made they look for discounts. The 3/1/2023 date below only refer to samples we ordered. We were pleased with the samples we received.
