I bought hinges for shutters that I’m going to be making, haven’t used them yet but they look perfect and feel robust - exactly what I’m after. The price point was great too.

The 7 replacement louvres I got were perfect and delivered very quickly. The louvres come with all the staples and fixings you need so you don't need to order extra ones as I did!

Also, my original staple holes were smaller than the ones sent by Shutterplus so I ended up using the old staples from my broken louvres which was easier.

I ordered for a replacement slat and it was perfect- the correct dimensions. I had also misplaced the required pin and they sourced one for me and sent it immediately. I could not be any happier. Thanks

I had shopped around and found Shutterplus offered the best price and best advice, I had almost gone with another company but they said they couldn't fit the style we wanted, so I kept looking and glad I did as Shutterplus were able to do it! Great service, we ordered our shutters in late Sept/early Oct and were provided with updates on shipping and status of delivery, managed to get them fitted before Christmas as promised. Fitting took less than 2 hours for 3 windows including clean up afterwards! Made up with the shutters they look great, and have really made a difference keeping noise out, giving privacy and letting light in.

Not only did they supply the parts that I needed to build my own shutters promptly, I got some really helpful product advise as well.

The replacement shutters arrived very quickly.
We have been unable to fit them as they are needed in another property and due to covid restrictions we are unable to do that just yet but I am sure they will be fine.

Shutterplus provided an excellent service. I needed spare louvres for a damaged plantation shutter and found this company on Google. The website was easy to navigate, with transparent pricing and easy order placing. Communication about the order was great and the quality of the finished items was good. My only observation is that no tracking information was provided for the delivery.

Ordering was easy, then confirmed by email when we checked the drawings before they were made. Hugo was very helpful and when they arrived we were impressed with the quality. Delivery time was lengthy but they were worth the wait.

Hugo is a gentleman. Great fitting service, went through all the options. They were installed as soon as lockdown would allow. They look fab and are massively functional on our South facing Windows.

I am very happy with my purchase and impressed by the quality of the shutters. I did hesitate with buying DIY shutters as I have no experience of fitting them and I did have anxiety with measuring!
I opted for Primewood which is Paulownia wood. There were a few issues with the online ordering system as the description appeared to switch to the more expensive material. However it was as priced and the finished online order reverted to the Primewood as requested.
Communication by email with Hugo was good particularly when cross checking measurements and confirming shipping progress.
The shutters were ordered on 25 August and I finally received them on 16 November. This is about 11 weeks. The shutters are made in China and then shipped by sea. Hugo provided a tracking code so you could monitor the progress of the ship from China via the Suez Canal. The cargo ship it was on carried over 21,000 shipping containers! It stopped off in Zeebrugge and then it was stuck out in the North Sea waiting to dock in Felixstowe. It waited for well over a week before it could dock at Felixstowe. The next thing I had was an email saying my shutters were being sent by Parcelforce from Belfast to London. The shutters were well boxed but it was missing some screws which should have been supplied in a small red box. I contacted Hugo who was very apologetic and sent this to me by first class mail.
The frame fiitted the recess like a glove. It did require some logical thinking slotting the panels together but Hugo was very responsive with any queries I had. All in all a good experience and I'm so glad I opted for DIY. A certain department store quoted a price nearly double so I made a big saving. I'm a very happy customer!

Bit pricey with the delivery but heh it turned up and we’ve got spares for when the kids decide to slam the shutters closed again !

Wrong goods sent but easily resolved and happy with new replacement. Have used this company several times and can’t fault them😊 Will continue to use in the future.
