Silentnight 1000 Spring Single Mattress

Online ordering, communiction and delivery very good.
After two weeks of use I have found the mattress to be comfortable. However, even though I weigh a modest 70kg, dips and hollows are starting to appear around the shoulder and hip area. This is disappointing after such a short time.

Buy a mattress from silent night via mattress man

I bought a mattress in 2009 and have recently discovered, on turning the mattress, the gun used to attache labels to the fabric was left and sealed inside the top layer of fabric. Over time the gun has torn the inner fabric exposing the springs and making it unsafe to lie on.
I straight away replaced the mattress, providing both mattresses man and silent night photographs of damage.
The mattress was collected and disposed of at the time of delivery of the new one.
The time taken by both mattress man and silent night customer services resulted in my failure to provide silent night with the old mattress, which they stated they needed to give me a ' gesture of goodwill refund'
So I've ended up with a ticketing gun and a new mattress at my cost.
Folks my advice run your hand over any new mattress purchased and hopefully you won't get a duff one like I did

Convenient to do online shopping except when it comes to using a discount code

Although not used to doing online shopping, I found it convenient to go through the details of few mattresses before deciding which one suits my needs. The only frustrating problem I faced was using my NHS discount code. But managed it after few tries.

Used before about 6 to 8 years ago all good this time samples ordered never arrived sent an email to asked what the closest match is too current mattress in today's spec email was logged then took about 2 weeks to respond with a link to the website not very helpful as already visited website hence the sample order.

Silent Night. It came true!

I am happy to recieve my pillows and bed covers, they are warm and very comftable, so I can indulge and sleep like a baby
I would recommend to anyone who wants an affordable and luxurious experience
The prices are Great And ok for new buyers

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. Unable to talk or contact anyone. I needed to return a mattress and I just had a delivery date sent to me. Still not had any email confirmation of return or refund and Thats was 4 weeks ago

Wrong item sent and missed the opportunity to buy…

I ordered a beautiful heated green throw from Silentnight that was on offer so that was simply perfect.
Unfortunately instead of the green throw I received the wrong item, that being a duvet cover.
It took a few days to get any response at all from Silentnight having tried both the live chat, the form completion I was forwarded to, and finally a Facebook chat at which point I was told they would forward the right item, to then be told it was now out of stock.
They offered me a different colour throw which would not have gone with my decor so I had to turn it down and I bought a Morphy Richard’s throw instead in a lovely shade of green which arrived the very next day.

Damaged mattress, poor communication, and incorrect refund
Our Silentnight mattress arrived damaged in six separate places. I contacted customer services immediately and waited 10 days for a reply, by which point the new mattress smell had dissipated. A replacement was no longer a realistic option as my husband is disabled and going through that process again wasn't something we could manage, meaning a nearly new mattress would end up in landfill, which doesn't sit well with me.
We agreed to a partial refund of £150 on an £800 mattress, lower than I'd hoped for but accepted to move on. Every stage of this process required me to chase. Each response took around 10 days, and at one point they closed the case claiming I hadn't replied, when I had.
Today the refund arrived. They sent £15, not £150.
I'm now having to pursue the correct amount, which shouldn't be necessary. I shouldn't have to fight this hard after receiving a damaged product, and this experience has put me off purchasing from Silentnight again.

I have literally gone through 4 heating…

I have literally gone through 4 heating blankets this winter!! No joke!! These are either made really really bad or have some sort of electrical problem. But these are really made really really bad. Customer service is amazing but the blankets are not made well at all. Another just broke tonight . And it’s about 2 months old .
