A broomstick putter order direct from Callaway Golf Canada
I ordered a broomstick putter online on 12/3/2024 (Order Number: #8878889). The price is $479. No updates for a very long time......in the 10 days between the Boxing Day sale the price was dropped to $429......
I made a follow up call on January 6th....a staff member answered my call and followed up on my order and also mentioned that a $50 credit would be discussed with the manager.
On January 10th, I received an email from Mr. Maxwell Pepper of Customer Support regarding the status of my order. I responded to an email that day to discuss the $50 credit and received no response…... I re-sent a follow-up email again on January 15th…...
On January 17th, my credit card was charged $503.99 and the status show order shipped. Ends up, I received the shipment on January 20th. I guess they will never credit that $50 back.....
Callaway makes it HARD to be a customer
Customer Service line is complete garbage. I’ve called multiple times on multiple days and always get the same “we are experiencing abnormal volume” message. Aka..we don’t hire enough people. I’ve never waited for less than half an hour. I once picked the call back option and it was almost two hours before I received a call back.
This was for checking on a purchase I made direct from the website for an “in stock” golf bag. It’s been five days and the bag still hasn’t shipped and outside of “it should ship today”, no one can tell me anything. And spoiler alert, the bag did not ship today. They are quick to take your money but not so eager to ship product and they make it impossible to reach customer service.

I should've read the reviews first, but I never expected this sort of amateurish service from a major brand.
Items that are listed as "in stock" take 2 weeks to ship. Customer service takes 8 days to respond to an e-mail and they don't even read the question, just give their generic response along with a string of spam links to buy more of their stuff. Ignorant and unprofessional.
I now have a box sitting outside my door while I'm travelling for several weeks because they shipped a lot slower than promised and didn't respond to my cancellation request.

Worst experience I've had in long time with ordering direct. No customer service whatsoever. I ordered on 12/3 and by 12/23 my order was still "processing". No body answered their customer support line. I was on hold for 30 minutes and then clicked for a call back. I never received a call back. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

The fall of an iconic brand!
I have spent tens of thousands of dollars over 30 years of being a loyal Callaway customer. From $1200 custom drivers to $600 custom Toulon putters and everything in between. Bag, balls, irons, woods, hybrids, clothing, on and on. I tried to order a new set of Apex 21 irons and was informed of 2-3 week lead time, very acceptable given my custom design. Then next day told 5 months for delivery due to “supply and logistics issues”. I’m a supply chain and logistics executive of 35 years and you give “logistics and supply” as issues for extensive delays. Your issues are 100% due to offshoring production and manufacturing cheap Chinese recycled steel, irons look like garage sale trash after 30 rounds, the black editions wear even quicker. Cheap foreign materials and labor elevate stock price but if you don’t bring manufacturing back to the USA you’re going to continue losing market share to USA manufacturers like PXG and Japanese precision like Srixon and Mizuno. The excuses are old and tiring and not at all factual but since “covid” people that don’t know any better accept them. These issues are self inflicted by Callaway from Board of Directors to C-suite on down in the name of “God almighty share holder value”.

Poor customer service and misleading sales. Purchased a bag and paid for expedited 2-day shipping. 2 weeks later I was told there was still no ETA on delivery. Website advertises 30-day money back guarantee but I was told that this does not include refunds on shipping, even though it was being delivered so far past the paid expedited delivery date. Ended up finding a cheaper, faster option on Amazon.

Purchased a shirt and a pair of golf shoes. I used the sizing option on their site before choosing the size of each. However, both are too small. I go to return, thinking it might be as easy as Amazon, but that's not the case. Even though it was free shipping to get the order, they will deduct $6 to return an item and that's after a time-consuming effort of trying to locate how to return the item. I tried calling their customer service and after sitting on hold for about 10 minutes, a recorded message tells me to leave a message as all agents are busy. I tried calling 4 different times always with the same result and I have yet to receive a call back. Then I tried emailing them and got a system generated reply with their hours of operation, that confirmed that I was contacting them during regular office hours. Still haven't heard from a real person. I would recommend purchasing from a better site.

Don’t even try to buy anything on this website. They listed the clubs I ordered as “in stock” but it has taken over 3 weeks and I still get “the delivery date is just an estimate “ response when I try to find out when I can expect to get my clubs.
Save yourself the time and choose anyone but Callaway.

Second time dealing with Callaway and second issue I've had, first one was a big order of loads of clubs that took almost a month to arrive
Placed an order for £150 of clothing items to have £106 refunded as they don't have the stock I purchased but yet still have 5 of the 6 items showing 'in stock' on the website. Terrible service, no responses to any emails, left on customer service call tone for almost 1 hour with no answer. Would not recommend buying anything direct from these clowns.

I have been a longtime Callaway customer and have a “rep”, Allen, at Callaway that handles all my orders. He and Callaway are great. He calls me right back, works with me, suggesting certain shafts and clubs. I could not be happier. Add to this the Military Discount and the rewards program and I will remain a loyal customer.
I'm tired of jealous Titleist people ,when I out drive them.I'm a strong 80 year old hitting 200 +yards off the tee.I was in Groton Connecticut. Last week and after golfing ,one guy said 80 my ass.

They shipped the wrong clubs, I ordered a left handed 8 and 9 iron and received a 9 iron and right handed 51 degree wedge, Called customer service and they said they would ship a next day delivery for their error but the arrival date is scheduled in 8 days? ! not only did they F up the original order but lied to me about sending them the correct club as a next day delivery, I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN VERY INCOMPETENT
