Hi Derrick, thanks for the review. We're sorry to hear about your experience, but the firmware updates are controlled by the manufacturer - in this case, BenQ. Here is the link to the updated BenQ firmware, just download to your computer and then install the firmware upgrade via a usb stick or connect your computer directly to the projector. https://www.benq.com/en-us/business/support/products/projector/lw500st/download.html

I been doing business with Projector People for probably 10 years now. I never had a issue and i always have someone to help me if i have any questions , weather it be by website or by phone. Most of my purchases were for Lamps , but i also bought the Panasonic PT-AE8000U Projector & Just recently bought Sony VPL-PHZ51 WUXGA 3LCD Laser Projector. I am very happy with the recent purchase especially. Super bright & no more Lamps!! :) Thanks for being the best & trustworthy & have a Happy New Year! :P
