If I could give this product a negative rating I would and the company does not stand by their product. I have been warned prior to submitting my warranty claim that there is an adhesive problem with their product. This is obvious and I wish I could submit pictures. I bought my Seadek 14 months ago and it is already peeling/bubbling in multiple locations. they told me it doesn't appear to be covered under warranty. Apparently, its an installation issue, not covered under warranty. The only problem with this is Seadek installed the product. Honestly, stay away from the product. Its going to cost over $15k to have this product professionally removed and new decking installed.
When you look at the 5* reviews they are from people who just had it installed. I would have also given a 5* review THAT DAY. look at 12 months later. All those reviews are negative. Don’t waste your money. Terrible product.

After only 3 season the product was come unsealed and not adhering anymore. I spent over $3,000 on the flooring and seadek solution was to reorder the flooring again!!! I was so you want me to spend another $3,000 after only three years? Customer service said that is correct we don't recommend resealing it the best practice is to replace it. Warranty does not cover if the adhesives don't hold anymore. This product is way over priced for what you get and the customer service is non existence.

SeaDek upgrade on Regal boat
SeaDek was an expensive OE upgrade on our 2022 Regal 36XO. It has several spots that are simply delaminating and bubbling in the center and a few corners that are rolling up. It is becoming a safety trip hazard. SeaDek does not warrant OE installations and tells me they made an adhesive change in 2023 but neither SeaDek or Regal will step up to correct this mess. It will cost several thousand dollars just to remove and clean the mess left behind. I do not recommend SeaDek or Regal.

I covered a substantial swim platform, about 5' by 15'
on a Tiara 4000 about 1 year ago. Not cheap, about $2000 for the job. It's now peeling off with about 50% of the area adhesive gone. A good storm will probably blow off all 6 pieces if I can't find an alternate glue to make the repair. I submitted the defect to Sea Dek and was flatly ignored. So sick of liars and cheats.

I decided to install my own SeaDek flooring in lieu of a company doing it for me. Mainly due to me not wanting my boat away from my garage. The experience was GREAT. The customer service was impeccable. Constant communication through the whole process which made me feel really comfortable in doing business with them. Of Course, this is my first time dealing with this type of product and we made quite a few errors in template process, but it didn't matter. The folks at SeaDek wanted my project to be perfect and allowed as many revisions as needed to get it right. I just installed my SeaDek and it looks fabulous. I highly recommend SeaDek.
Great Job Seadek 2014 Monterey Boat Bowrider 26.8
I just want to let you all know I had taken my boat from Port Dover to Windsor. It was a 2014 Monterey Bowrider BOAT and I needed my entire seadeck to replace by Chad. I called Chad a few times and we spoke on the phone and he returned my call promptly, each time and made some comments that help me organize my Seadek replacement.We set up a date and I was there at 9:30 and by 3:30 in the afternoon I had a brand new Seadek that covered the entire floor of my boat which look fantastic with an ANGEL LOGO as well. Chad did a great job very professional,very clean very organized and very trustworthy , it’s nice to say something when you see that the product that you pay for is worth it and I believe the flooring on my Monterey boat looks great. I would recommend Chad & Seadeck anytime. Thank you very much Chad and much appreciated Mike Shapiro, Port, Dover, Ontario. .

I had my Seadek installed by a Seadek rep in Oct 2022. I have a pad that has already come lose. I call Seadek and was told they do not warranty adhesion even if less than 6 months installed by their rep. There are a lot of other products out there you might want to check out!
Very poor customer service
Seadek hired a sub to install my flooring. The measurements and I stall were off by quite a bit. Sub came back to remove and install a new mat and quit 2/3 through the removal. Now I'm left with random mat and adhesive on my floor. Their remedy is to refund my deposit and refuse to remove the product from my boat. Needless to say I'll have a few days in removing it myself.

If you see bubbles tell them you want a total reputation. Apparently they switched adhesive and it ain't working to good. Loved the product and castaway company when I started, but Patrick industries bought up both and ran castaway into ground. Oh if you call about warranty issues, I'll just tell you, you've been denied!!

They messed up and sent me the wrong item. I live out in the boonies, pretty far from any postal office, so now I have to go out of my way and pay for return postage myself because they didn’t even offer that in order to send back an item that was their mistake. I’ll also have to wait 10 days for them to refund me my money after having sent them the item back before I can place the order again.

I contracted with Seadek to outfit my entire floor on a 24’ chaparral 246 SSI. I’ve continually asked for delivery and installation dates. It’s their practice, as I experienced firsthand, not to share production and installation dates. I placed the order over four weeks ago. Gave them a deposit of $1000. It’s almost like they took the money and ran. The one sole customer service representative is completely overwhelmed and under informed. This organization is acting like they have way too much business and really don’t care much about customer service. It’s been four weeks and they still can’t give me a delivery date. And heavens forbid if you try to expedite delivery! That’s not in their business model. Very frustrating. It’s gotten to the point where they won’t even return phone calls. These guys are obviously too successful and have forgotten what it’s like to be customer-centric. They have competition and I wish I would’ve investigated further. #LivingInThe80s
