Worst payday lender ive ever come across, took out a £350 loan for the first time. I'm one of these that takes out the loan and always pays it back before the first payment is due. All other lenders I have been with have charged me from the day I took the loan out (the interest) up until whenever I ring up to pay it all off. These put all the interest on up front and when you ring up and state u want to pay upto date on the loan they tell you they will give you a settlement figure and its valid for 28 days so basically u have no choice but to pay the rest of the interest upto the date of the 28th day after u ring, wheather u pay it off that day u ring or one week later or so on its an absolute con! what a joke this company are don't get yourself in debt with this company they will scam your back side for every penny they can get there hands on! If you ring to pay the rest of the loan off and are happy to pay the interest that you have used, why are they charging you for the next 28 days after that it's insane....Avoid this debt company at ALL Costs! I won't be using these again!

Don't borrow from this company. They will overcharge you if you settle early and their rates are sky high.

Currently awaiting a refund from.satsuma following an affordability complaint that went to the FOS and was found in my favour the refund was agreed between both parties on 19.12.18 they told me a week ago the cheque was in the post, yet another lie. This company's communication and honesty is beyond poor I have to say out of all short term loan companies I have used this is the worst. One person doesn't know what the other is doing I would avoid at all costs I will be putting a further complaint in to the FOS for dishonesty hoping that it gives the FOS more ammunition for future complaints they will indefinitely receive... emailed them the other day they emailed back automated response....they would always get back to me in 48 hours ... 72 hours and still waiting....mugs absolute mugs

I took out a loan for £1200 and paid it back before I had even made my first payment. Had the loan less than 1 month and paid £247.50 interest. Will not be using again.

I recieved junk mail to my home from them having never enquired about short term loans. It means they’ve illegally acquired or purchased my personal details from somewhere.

Very poor service, agreed a loan, was told to send them my proof of wages etc etc waited for two weeks got an email saying I've been turned down, absolute joke avoid at all costs waste of time

I have only just received a letter from them advertising how good they are, and as soon as I saw the 535% APR I nearly dropped to the floor LOL...FFS you would have to be a complete Moron to have a loan off these robbing GITS and surely this rate is illegal. I would have thought..

I took out a very small loan and set up my payment plan with this loan, Satsuma did NOT even attempt to take any payments from my account for months and now contact me every single day via phone, at least 7 times a day. This company dont deserve to be lending people money with their pathetic customer service skills, backwards attempts to cripple people financially and breaks in contract.

I did not ask for this loan to be paid over 45 weeks which is absolutely appaling, to borrow £100 they then expect £200 back. Why on earth would someone require 45 weeks to pay back £100! I never asked or wanted this period of payment and i will not be forced into a corner to accept it and be told i cannot pay anything early.

You allow people to borrow / lend money then make no attempt to take payments when its set up. You are attempting to put people into financial difficulty forcing them to miss payments and then their credit score becomes punished for this disgusting act.

I will be seeking legal advise due to this appaling behaviour, shame on you.

Avoid!! They just mess you about!! You even get as far as signing credit agreements etc. You then send in your documents that they’ve asked for and they decline you anyway. Honestly don’t give these sharks the time of day.

I was off ill and got behind with payments... 6 months on i still have not been able to set up any plan. I email.. actually i have sent 16 emails and they keep asking for my address i send it and then they ask again. I think i will send this to FOS as they are really bad .

Do not use this company. I took a loan in June for £1000 and called to pay it back early with in two to three payments and would of only had the loan three months if they had kept there word and was told wouldn't pay as much interest as paying off early due to family circumstances. They didn't take arranged payments out when they should saying they had wrong details even though had gone through with them and didn't contact me to let me know. They charged me £1846.00. Poor service and taking advantage of people.

Avoid avoid avoid, wanted to pay off a big chunk early, had to cancel my agreement told the rest has to be paid within 30 days or it goes to collection agencies. felt I had to pay it off in full or be charged 60p per day for the next 30 days. Just glad it wasn’t a big loan, lending stream is much better.

Couldn't pay ME to use Satsuma. Reported my account in default when it wasn't. Rectified it. 8 months later they've reported it again. No responses, no admissions just automated responses for 6 weeks.
Would not use them if they were giving free money.
