ZERO STAR REVIEW

an ex fraudulently take out a loan in my name.
there’s is an on going police investigation as he has done this to many women.
My address was wrong all
his details except my name and i’m stuck with this.
this has been ongoing since december 2019
the loan has been frozen since march 2020 but i still receive debt letters even though the address on each one is wrong
I have had no update on this case.
Police crime number given to them
and they accept no responsibility for allowing a stranger to take a loan out in my name.

I had taken out two loans with both Satsuma and Likely Loans, Same amount and same period. I was badly affect financially by Covid and asked for support from both companies . . Was advised by Satsuma it was in fact a "payday" I had taken out and was only entitled to 1 months holiday and anymore missed payments would affect my credit score.

I explained I wanted to build my credit score to avoid high interest loans however need to speak to a debt charity!!! but would still affect my credit score !!!

Heartless company! They use poor judgment to loan money to people only to satisfy their greed and when people are unable to pay back they use threats to force them to pay back. What a wonderful news that FOS is shutting them down! Even when they are told that they are in wrong they still would not admit it. In my case they had to be told by higher authority that they are wrong and they must correct it! CEO of this company should be ashamed of himself!!!

Like everyone else I made a complaint about affordability which was due to be resolved on the 2nd of April I’ve now been informed that my complaint is going to there scheme they just announced which means it’s gonna take over a year to get a result now and even then il only be getting a a fraction of what’s possibly owed to me. No point ringing them or emailing them they just read a script and can’t do any thing hopefully there go the same way as all the time other payday sharks

What an horrible company and they treat people different with mental health problems !!!!!!!!!!

This is a formal complaint about satsuma complaint department from today 18 march 2021 also against Beth too feel the investigation not done correctly also not contact me in response to this and taken one side and not looked at also sticking up for staff too and no out come in a correct manner also dissemination possible also in regards to my mental health problems .

I first sending this email because the support and help from your complaints team extremely shocking and level of help Unacceptable .

It seems very much to me that all stick together in the same pot !!!! Please do accused my speech !!!!

I want someone senior from you team to contact me no wound satsuma got one of worse bad service and experience is a disgusting !!!!!!!!!!

I hope you are proud of yourself for the way your staff treat people and stick up for the other members too !!!!!!!

Like I want one of your members of team because satsuma don't care about customer how they treat people like me .

Also I asked for someone to call me not just send a response in like 2 days very rushed and not even given me the chance to speak at all !!!!!!

Quiet clearly this how you expect to be treated like ?

Overall extremely shocking Nd disgusting service from satsuma and has the CEO I hope that's you stand proud of this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be asking the FCA to look at satsuma because quiet clearly they need to make about this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I urgently advise no one to use Satsuma loans you will regret it and they treat people with health problems specific mental health different and stick up for the staff on question when they are raising there voice at customer also they don't investigation things too in a wright manner and keep you waiting on hold !!!!!!!!!!!!

The FCA should investigate this company it really bad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could put 0 I would. Put in an affordability complaint and had a reply saying they have received the complaint and will look to final response it in 3 days ... that didn’t happen so had to wait 8 weeks. Have asked for an update as I don’t hear back and keep getting told it’s under investigation and need to wait but in the meantime phone a number and they can help ... that number is for customer service not complaints and they can’t actually do anything to help you in regards to complaints. You have until the 3rd feb to final response my complaint. I’m not going to wait for another 8 odd months like a few of the others have unfortunately had to wait !!!!

Done one with lending stream and they dealt with it & final responded it within 2 weeks then got the money 2 days later in my bank !!! Why can’t you be like them ??? Complaint reference is CCCD1224925

Avoid at all costs. I made a complaint due to affordability which was very poorly handled and subsequently escalated to the Financial Ombudsman however they’ve been waiting for over 8 months for Satsuma to send over their case file and a copy of the credit checks that were supposedly carried out!! Appalling to say the least!!

Avoid this company at all costs. Terrible complaints department. Financial ombudsman has been waiting 6 months for a case file to be sent to them. After numerous emails and telephone calls everything just gets back heeled. Like talking to a brick wall. Worst company ever.

Don't know why there is so many bad reviews they help me when I was down its a high procente loan but they let me know before I accept the agreement because the covid I stopped paying on time and they never tried to harassment me in any way speak with the lovely woman on the phone and make repayment plan thank you Satsuma loans

Avoid, avoid

I’ve just seen a review that somebody else is in the exact same predicament as me. Money was fraudulently taken in my name with Satsuma. They have not provided me documentation how it was taken out when I have requested it. They are also asking for the investigator contact details. Yet I have explained to them what the officers have told me sent the official police report that Satsuma THEMSELVES , asked for yet they still refuse . And now they’re suddenly saying they’re doing to reinstate the account ? This doesn’t make any sense. Everything they ask for I give as proof only for them to decide they want something else. But the police keep on telling me I have provided exactly what is needed to clear me.

Avoid at all costs - I hit a period of financial difficulty while I had a Satsuma loan and entered into a payment arrangement. I have ended up battling with Satsuma all year about the reporting on my credit file as they simply have been reporting this as completely missed payments not a repayment arrangement.
You only ever get responses from the Complaints team with conflicting information. They tell you they will fix it but it doesn't happen and when you get in touch again they tell you something different.
Not once have the complaints team phoned me to discuss - they either ignore you completely or sent short, curt & unhelpful responses.
They decline disputes from the credit agencies and now when I have referred to the Financial Ombudsman they do not send the paperwork to the FOS or engage with them.
If you have a loan with these people avoid payment arrangements as while they are supposed to help customers in financial difficulty they have ruined my file and made things ten times worst.

I put in an affordability complaint and they have dealt with the complaint in 5 weeks and have agreed to pay me the interest for 2 loans out of the 3 I had taken. Raheem Khalil was the complaints handler and he dealt with the case very quickly
I have been advised it will take 14 days for me to receive a cheque in the post for the compensation so will update once I receive this

2000£ was fraudulently taken out of my account in my name back in 2018, and I've been trying to sort this out for NEARLY 2 YEARS! I've provided all the evidence from the bank to say it's a fraud and the report from police station, and this bloke Steve Elsworth wants the contact details for an investigating officer to show that I have reported this to my local police for them to investigate further, where a person/s has been charged with the offence of obtaining the agreement fraudulently, then they can't even provide any ID or information when the loan was accepted by them, it's a total SCAM!

The worst company ever..I hope they will close!!!!!!

Took out a 100 pound loan last year. Paid off within 4 weeks. They want to charge me interest for a year which is another 100 when I paid off the loan.

Keep marking my credit file for a loan which has been paid for months.

Financial ombudsman they try to not give paperwork so they also can't deal with your claim

Satsuma/Provident do not respond to the FOS. They do use delay tactics to bring in more money
