AVOID 5 DERWENT CLOSE!!!
Good at first until you get into a property. We had multiple issues that took far too long to fix and after leaving the property they make up all kinds of things to keep the security deposit.
One ring on the hob didnt work and for some reason it took a year to get fixed. We were left for the majority of December one year without heating and hot water as the landlord refused to pay for the boiler repair. The fence in the back garden blew down and it took 3 months to get a new one. The house suffered from damp throughout and we were told to leave the windows open more, even they were open almost all year round! RPMS were very poor at getting basic repairs sorted partly due to the landlord but it's their responsibility to look after tenants as well!
The house was in a poor state when we moved in and despite us spending our own money on decorating and improving the property, rpms are now trying to charge for professional cleaning and repairing things that were broken when we moved in or are actually are working but now mysteriously aren't!
Rpms only have an interest in money and very little in helping tenants, my advice is to choose an agency that knows what they are doing and actually care!
Update: had to report RPMS to the tenant deposit scheme as after months of waiting we still didn't have our deposit back! The tenancy deposit scheme agreed with us that they had no basis to claim the money they said they were owed! Avoid them at all costs!

Through out the viewing and finding the property process, RPMS were very helpful and quick to find time to get in viewings. My only thing- like with all estate agents- I would have loved more evening appointments as it hard as a teacher to get to many appointments and the houses were all going before I could get round!
After moving in Katie Puckering has looked after the whole process fantastically, she is prompt at emailing back and call back and any problems have been resolved very quickly.
Great service when I first moved in. The house was spotless!

Our experience with RPMS has been most satisfactory. We negotiated the rental from Zambia with no problems. The viewing and negotiations were initiated through our daughter. Other companies insisted on meeting us before finalizing any agreement. Queries and concerns have been promptly addressed. All round a balanced and smooth transition from one continent to another.
