Isis is a very great helper and listener. She shows knowledge about the issues that the printer is having and was able to pick up on a huge issue! Bad investment
I had such big hopes… After your warranty runs out look out…They will charge you crazy money for parts that constantly go out such as printer heads and control boards. While in warranty they want to blame you for not operating the machine correctly. I have two of these machines that constantly break down and usually it was the same issue. It will cost a lot to repair them and it’s just not worth investing any more into them… It’s nearly impossible to resale these machines. I highly recommend learning how to screen print and save your money. This is a terrible investment based off my experience not opinion. I had the pleasure of talking with a gentleman by the name of Eduardo Crespo Razo from Ricoh. I was having an issue with my Ricoh DTG machine, and Eduardo took the time to help me try to resolve my issue. He was very pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. Although we couldn't find a resolution, he stayed on the phone with me and tried everything possible to help.

I had a bad clog on the machine and they were very patient and helpful walking me through the process. I am a definite advocate for this team. These people need a raise! Ricoh Ri 100 and finisher
Ricoh Ri 100 and finisher
I purchased a new Ricoh Ri 100 printer and finisher just over two months ago. Ordering was easy, after that nothing has been good. I was able to set up the printer and run a few prints on my own. I was supposed to get a setup and use call but it never happened. The printer will make about 5 prints before yelling about needing a maintenance cycle. It's constantly down for maintenance and cleaning heads. The print quality looks great but the ink doesn't set for anything. I did heavy and light prints and baked on the high setting for 3x the recommended time and the in still barely sets. After a wash of a shirt the ink is about 1/4 darkness. after 3-5 washes the print looks borderline unrecognizable. I printed on multiple fabric types and get the same result. I am not happy with the purchase.

Ricoh has the Best Techs! I spoke to James Lee a few days ago and told him the issue I was having. I explained everything that I checked on my DTG printer and I also sent him a picture of my artwork to verify it wasn't my design. Without hesitation James told me to check my filters. As usual James was correct and replacement part was only $4. I am so greatful for the amazing Techs and especially James Lee!
