So far First Class!
We're still in the early phases and have yet to get to Europe to pick up our Renault, but my experience in dealing with REA online to make all the arrangements from Australia has been excellent. They are very patient and very prompt following up with answers and the necessary documents (thanks Trevor at REA).

I firstly want to say thank you to Karen, from renault eurodrive in Australia. Great service, very precise and professional.
I rented the car for a little over 3 months, from June to September. I picked up the car in Rome, and the service was great from the moment I picked up the car to the last day when I dropped it off. Wonderful new car from factory, really enjoyable to drive, pleasant trips in the car throughout Italy with my family.

We had all our luggage stolen from the boot of a locked Renault Eurodrive Captur. What Renault Eurodrive fail to tell you is that keyless entry vehicles can be tampered with and unlocked very easily with cheap wireless scanning devices available online. Renault Eurodrive did not want to know about it. Nothing is covered by their insurance policy so you can't leave anything in the vehicle. Renault Eurodrive was utterly irresponsible and couldn't care less.

Second time round
This is the second time we have selected Renault Eurodrive for our holidays in Italy and other European countries. Hence, our first choice this time. Our experience in 2017 was first class for service and vehicle presentation.

This is the 3rd time we have used Eurodrive!
We have found the service to be excellent. This includes the information available, the knowledge and courtesy of our Reservation contact (Pascale) and the support provided to us.
On a previous trip we had an incident in which our car needed replacing. We gave the emergency line all our details and were soon provided with a new car in a very short time - excellent service.

Cracks appearing in the Renault Eurodrive offer
We first used Renault Eurodrive 18 years ago and every 3 years since. Unfortunately our last 2 leases weren't memorable. Around 4 years ago, we organised the new model Clio wagon in manual diesel and it was picked up in Paris and due for return to Toulouse. Unfortunately, the gearbox self-destructed at around 5000kms whilst we were in South France and after much hassle and visiting 2 dealers to get it looked at, we ended up with a very used rental car to complete our holidays. Not a great result, but this year (July) we decided our last experience was probably just a one-off and went again with Renault Eurodrive. This time a Dacia SUV, to be picked up in Amsterdam. The guy there was on time to pick us up, but when we got there he apologised that the car already had 400kms on the clock as Renault had forgotten to get the car to Amsterdam and had to hire a driver to bring it up. That didn't bother us too much, but the car was covered with bird droppings and the interior was dirty. The agent suggested we give it a wash!! The car went well on our travels Western Europe and then to the UK and back to Amsterdam to drop it off at a pre-arranged time before our flight back to Oz. This time the agent failed to show up at 0830 and after numerous calls to his messagebank, texts and emails, he called an apologised that he had SLEPT IN!! Now we have a 30min trip to Schipol and runnng out of time to catch our flight, I asked a nearby hotel to book me a cab and I left the car keys with the concierge. We made the flight with 10mins to spare, but lots of anxiety to boot. Renault needs to take a good look at their supply chain as after being good customers for nearly 20years, we won't go back to them again. Sad but true.
Best Service!
This is a great Service! I hired a car for 3 months for an epic road trip. The pickup of the vehicle was smooth, upon arrival at the airport I was transported via their shuttle to the nearby pickup location. The processing of the paperwork and pickup of the car took literally 5 minutes. The duration of the lease was smooth and hassle free, didn't have an issue in the 3 months! The return was just as smooth, easy return and was transported to the airport. This is the best service to use in Europe, highly recommended!
