John and his brother were incredibly efficient! very friendly and accommodating. We were clearing my Mum's flat and were located in different parts of the country. We were (my siblings and I) so pleased, we engaged John to do all the jobs including the final clearance.
I cn't recommend him enough

I would not recommend this company at all. I wanted a quote based on everything being seen in person beforehand, as i have been burnt by removal people before. The man who came to give the quote was charming "you will be treated like family". Moving day was different. He shouted at me because I hadn't used his packing service. He tried to claim that no one was taking anything upstairs to bedrooms when bedrooms had been cleared at the flat and I was clear that relocation was to a house. Boxes were to be charged at £3.95 + VAT and he said I needed 100, so that would have added £400 to the packing service. The first item of antique furniture that was moved was broken and immediately denied. He then threatened to abandon the job if I was going to accuse them of breaking things. Clearly removal day isn't like that to cancel at the last minute. Dismantling an antique wardrobe was so ham fisted, despite the promise of a professional job. Bits were broken off that and a chest of drawers. I dont know where that wood is and the wardrobe wont put back together because of the broken off wood. Chunks of a wall in a newly decorated room were knocked off. At the end of the day having been shouted at and made to feel an already stressful day 10x worse he wanted hugs ffs. I specifically wanted a fixed price and a preview pre move. He saw everything. I was completely honest about everything that was needed, and before the move, we had moved several boxes and then in fact because some things were not packed and ready, we are moving them ourselves post move. So he moved less than was agreed and was most unpleasant about it. I'm a single woman and expect he took advantage of that. The actual men, some were very decent and friendly, but nevertheless damaged furniture and did not say that's what they had done. Boxes and bags were packed well by us and arrived completely undamaged, so they were taken care of. 2 stars because some of the men were kind and helpful but the attitude of the boss and failure to acknowledge damage of furniture and wall is not OK.

I used this company a year ago and am still traumatised by the whole process I had to go through with them so only just getting round to writing this review.

Firstly, we agreed on a price that was for moving my things to Amsterdam on a day of my choosing. I had this on what’s app and email confirmed by their representative. My things were coming from Singapore to London already boxed so all 247 had to do was pick up from London and take to Amsterdam. After I got my Amsterdam apartment, I organised a date for 247 to pick up my belongings from the warehouse they were being stored in. The company where they were being stored sent their opening hours for pick up to myself and 247 removals which were completely normal hours.

247 removals then asked me to pay the full amount for their service which I paid. As soon as this had been paid, they told me that the hours they needed to pick up my things from the warehouse didn’t work for them therefore I would have to pay an additional £750.

They said if I didn’t pay this they would not deliver my things for a month. Essentially they had my stuff at ransom so I had to pay it.

Next, after knowing the date I needed my things delivered as I was moving into my new flat they told me there would be delays and asked for more money to have my things delivered on the date I wanted.

I already pre agreed and paid for delivery on the date I wanted at the beginning and yet they were asking for more money and lying about agreeing to deliver on my requested date even though I had proof on what’s app from their representative which I sent them and they ignored.

Again I had to pay more money. Did they then deliver on the days I wanted? No they didn’t they said there were no ferry’s available and they couldn’t get a ticket. This was insanely stressful for me I ended up moving to my new apartment with none of my stuff, having to fork out for an airbed and duvet while waiting all while I had just started a new job. I had to chase them every day, they started ignoring my messages and it took me getting a lawyer involved to get any communication from them. My things finally turned up 5 days later than agreed, 2 extra payments for essentially nothing. Costing more than £1k extra.

A marble table I had shipped was broken in half. When I reached out to them a few days after this horrific delivery experience to tell them and ask for insurance money they said they wouldn’t pay it.

The entire process with them was an absolute nightmare. I highly highly recommend against using them. They are completely unprofessional and have no morals whatsoever.

FYI they have registered their company twice on trust pilot as they had such bad reviews on their initial page. Make sure you look at both reviews and you’ll see what this company are actually like

Amazingly professional removals247 . I was positively suprised on the day how quickly boxes were moved out of the flat, the bed and wardrobe were taken apart and then assembled in the new flat.
Very trustworthy gentlemen, polite, and kept our flat clean and tidy while moving around on the carpets they brought for this purpose.
I can only recommend them and will definitely ask Adam’ help for the next move.

I've used them both for removals and long term storage and they've been great. Good value, great communications, careful with the furniture and super reliable. in fact one small box got left behind - i didn't notice for months but when I told John he searched their warehouse, located it and then sent it on by Hermes.
