I am very disappointed with Reliable Respiratory and would not ever use them again or recommend them to a friend. I have been a customer for seven years. When I needed a new machine to replace the old one, I was given a quote. Six months later, I have paid more than twice the quoted amount and RR is still billing me for more.
According to them: “The machine still has 7 months of rent left on it. The reason for this is that each time you changed insurances the rent started over again from the beginning. “
Nothing, on the entire website or in my dealings with them for seven years mentions “rent”.
If I had paid for half the machine’s value with one insurance company already, by what argument have I lost all the equity in the machine and have to start again when I change insurance companies?
I and my previous insurer already owned half that machine.
Rent?
How is this even legal?
Nowhere on their website is there any mention of rent or of resetting the clock if you change insurance companies.
Had they warned me about it I would not have ordered the machine then, and certainly not from them.
After seven years as a loyal customer, I am deeply disappointed by these deceptive business practices.
No, I do not recommend dealing with Reliable Respiratory. They quoted me one price and I have paid it more than twice over, and they still want more.

"Reliable" respiratory says it all!
I have been using my CPAP machine for 7 or 8 years now. I don't even have to call Reliable, they send me an e-mail saying I'm due for filters, replacement hose, mask, etc. The order arrives earlier than expected and it's correct every time.
Very helpful staff, no problems so far.
I like being able to reorder supplies by the web site, and the support staff has been very helpful.

I was originally told that the machine and supply's
Were to be covered by my insurance and now I am stuck with a bill that I am having difficulty paying.
This is very bothersome to me. Can someone look into this matter.
Apnea mask does not fit
Apnea mask does not fit. Have called several times to correct it. Have gotten no response until physicians office called. Tech was sent out with a different style mask that was worse. Would listen about fit problems. Still have not received any supplies since I first got the machine at the end of Oct. Customer service rep said we got supplies when we received the machine. Explained I only got a few extra air filters. She insisted I was wrong. Then said my insurance will only pay for quarterly supplies. But they send their bill every month. Cannot get any service to get a fit to correct a serious medical problem.

Excessive supplies sent
I like the fact that they send me reminders when it is time to purchase supplies. However this last time I simply chose what was auto selected and I received a grossly excessive number of filters and nasal pillows (and the nasal pillows are the wrong size).
What I expected was qty 1 nasal pillow package of small, medium & large with the mask, as I have received in all my previous purchases.
What I received was:
A size medium pillow with the mask
A package of small medium & large pillow
6 packages of small pillows (I use the medium) so these are useless
6 sets of filters, where in the past I had always received 1 set with each order.
Admittedly, I did not verify the quantities prior to placing the order, I simply selected the items because I never had to before.
I was shocked when I opened the package. I feel that this was extremely frivolous on the part of the company, not to mention wasteful. I feel it was someone’s idea of ripping off the insurance company.
Much more than "Very Good Indeed"
Reliable Respiratory has been responsible for ensuring that I get supplies for my CPAP machine for some years and has always been more than Reliable. They have been proactive in keeping me posted on timing and follow-up, they have been very helpful in transmitting the readings from my machine to my doctor in a timely fashion and also in helping me make adjustments to my machine's settings without my having to bring my CPAP machine to their office or needing to arrange for a technician to come to my house.
So I'm quite pleased with the service that Reliable has been providing me and anticipate continuing to have them service my machine for as long as I need it.
