You’ve left six reviews on here and every one of them is negative. That suggests this isn’t about one genuine issue, but a wider pattern of dissatisfaction when things don’t go exactly as you expect.

To be clear, the product itself was not damaged. The outer box was slightly squashed, which does sometimes happen in transit, but it was still intact and perfectly usable. We explained this clearly and offered a return in line with our published policy. As the item was not faulty, return postage would be the customer’s responsibility, which is standard practice and stated on our website.

Good customer service doesn’t mean ignoring procedures or offering outcomes outside our policies. It means responding, being transparent, and treating all customers fairly and consistently. We did exactly that here.

We’re always happy to help, but we won’t accept exaggerated claims or unfair characterisations simply because the outcome wasn’t what you wanted.

We’re disappointed to read this review, as it’s not an accurate reflection of what happened.

You received cloths and dryer balls that contain no added fragrances or chemicals. We do not advertise them as scented or unscented because there is no fragrance added. A natural material smell or a personal dislike of a scent does not make a product faulty.

You asked to return your order, and we accepted your return request immediately. The only point of disagreement was your demand that we pay your return postage. As a small business we already covered your outbound postage, and you also received 20% off the original price. Returns for non-faulty items are made at the customer’s cost, which is standard practice.

Your claim that the products are “unusable” because you personally dislike the natural smell does not meet the definition of a faulty item. You were still offered a full refund upon return.

It’s also worth noting that you have left multiple 1-star reviews for several other businesses on Trustpilot, all with similar complaints. We work hard to treat customers fairly, but we cannot take responsibility for preferences that fall outside what the product promises.

Your return remains accepted, and we will refund you in full as soon as the items arrive back with us in unused, sealed condition.

Thanks for your review. I’m sorry to hear you weren’t happy with the products, though we haven’t had any email from you about this or any request for support. We always sort things quickly when someone gets in touch, so it’s disappointing to hear this for the first time in a public review.

On the marketing side, we don’t send emails twice a day. In fact, we only send a few per week. The only exception was during Black Friday week when we had a new offer each day, which is standard for most retailers. The only way you’d receive duplicates is if you were signed up more than once, which can happen if someone enters their details again to access new-customer offers.

When someone unsubscribes, it usually takes effect within 24 hours. In rare cases it can take up to a week while all the platforms we use sync, but it doesn’t continue beyond that.

We take feedback seriously, but it does need to be fair and accurate. If our approach or our products don’t suit you, then it’s clear we’re not the right fit as your supplier.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I’m sorry to hear you’ve been left feeling frustrated.

I’ve looked into your account and the subscription wasn’t showing as cancelled on our system before the renewal was created. It was cancelled afterwards, which is why the order still went out. If we’d seen a cancellation request before dispatch, we would have stopped it for you.

Regarding the previous mix up with the scent, if you had contacted us at the time we would have happily put that right. We’re always here to fix any issues and make sure you get what you ordered.

I appreciate how this has come across from your side and I understand why you’re disappointed. If you’re able to share any proof of an earlier cancellation attempt, I’m more than happy to look into it fully and sort things out for you.

We do value your custom and I’m sorry this experience has made you feel otherwise.
