It was very easy now used 2 different occasions

10 out of 13 checks in the Engine/Motor category were "Not Checked. Plastic covers blocking view." I would expect the plastic covers to be removed so the checks can be done. Having paid for the top Ultimate level, I got a report with 20% of checks not done. Also the report said the owner and service manual were not in the car and put it back on me to check with the dealer. These vehicles don't come with log books and owners manuals, instead they are accessed through the centre display and the dealer would have confirmed that if asked.

Report was good but not as complete as I hoped for

Once the report was emailed to me I received a phone call asking me if I needed any more information. I was very happy with the service. Will definitely let my friends know too, if anyone is looking at getting a pre sale inspection done.

The vehicle inspection was conducted promptly, which I appreciated. However, after taking possession of the car, I discovered a fault that was completely missed in the report. Even for a standard inspection, checking basic functionality like the air vents should be a given. Disappointing attention to detail.

Update: To answer your question, the rear air conditioning vents are not blowing air at all, which is a functional fault, not wear and tear. This wasn't picked up during the inspection despite being noted as checked and working. I now need to take the car back in to have it repaired.

Great service and detailed report

8 years old Car was inspected by Redbook However the mechanic who looked at the car and wrote the report it appeared that he had expected the car to be brand new car in show room condition. Explaining even hairline fine short scratches on the body . To me that is excessive and unnecessary. Every other faults he reported seems to be in the same level and unacceptable.
Not happy with the service.

The mechanic called me late on a Friday night just to make sure I understood the issues he had raised in the report. He could have gone for a beer, but wanted to make sure I understood first. Great service. Definitely worth the money.
